I was dubious that a "sticking plaster" would fix the tear in the seat of my soft leather armchair, but the MastaPlasta patch has done the job. It was very easy to apply and has stuck perfectly to the soft creased leather seat. The seat is used continually, so the patch is under constant tension and movement, but after two days it has not moved in the slightest and has adhered to and followed the existing creases in the leather. It is a perfect diy fix for torn leather - although the colour range is somewhat limited.

I had a bit of trouble with this at first, as I didn't realise the sticky adhesive doesn't go right to the edge. There is a gap of a few mm which has no stick. I have two rips along the edge of one cushion of my sofa, located in the gap between the other cushion. I cut this plaster lengthways to make it narrow enough to fit in the gap, then attached it quite far down, as I thought it looked neater, as it was quite hidden and not really visible from the top of the cushion. It peeled away within a few hours, leaving the rip visible again. I was a bit gutted I'd just wasted quite a bit of money, till I remembered I still had the other half. On the second attempt I made sure to move it higher up so that the adhesive was covering the rip but was also covering a cm beyond the top of the rip, in the hope it'd stay on. It worked much better!My three kids have been jumping all over this 'plaster' which has made me nervous it'd peel away again but it has stubbornly stayed put, and I shouldn't have worried about it being visible as it's a good colour match, so it'd wouldn't catch your eye unless you knew to look for it. All in all, given me a few more years life in my sofa till the kids grow up and we can invest in a better quality one that won't get trashed!All good so far will update if it doesn't last, but am hopeful it's a good solution to an ugly problem I had.

I had an old chair that was heading for the tip but I had been reluctant because it was so comfortable. I saw this and thought if was worth a try to patch a burst seam, so glad that I did. Adhesive is quite strong so you need to place it carefully but once stuck it hasn't moved, even though it is on a seam. colour was quite a good match for me but is fairly unobtrusive so might suit lots of situations. One little patch has saved a good chair from being wasted and saved me the money of a replacement.

Had a small wear hole appear on the arm of one of our comfy, expensive leather sofas. It's where hubby hoiks himself up so the wear was bound to get worse quickly. Applied this patch easily and problem solved. Good colour n texture match. No sign of lifting 2 months later... Saved us £4,000 !!

Have now bought several to repair the dog’s favourite sofa. Super strong once set. Think the dogs have shares in the company though as they keep finding new places to make holes. Will eventually have a sofa made just from these and 10x stringer than the original

Patch done it's job, just a shame it looks about 4 shades lighter than the one in the picture

Had a slight tear on the inside of my leather jacket, this item was really good to help repair it. Colour wise it was almost a exactly match so you can't really notice the difference, really easy to apply & very sticky and the adhesive is very strong. Overall, very happy

Took me a while to try this but my sofa has got thin worn leather with some tears but I have used to patch to cover these and it looks pretty good even with the slight difference in colour, still looks better than the tears. I love my sofa and this can extend its life a bit longer.
