Our belt snapped on our Sears 3.5 Garage Door Opener, so we went to Amazon for a replacement belt. Found this belt online which fit our model Garage Door Opener. The belt came with no instructions, but there were plenty of handy YouTube videos which helped with installing the belt. Took less than 15 mins to install and works like new

When installing the belt, take care to not drop or lose the link to attach the ends! The belt fit great! Functions great after adjusting limits. No real instructions with the item. Wish this item came with just one link set. Recommend having the garage door opener in either the full up or down position. If you’re not sure, remove belt and push the opener button and observe which way the gear turns on the opener. My belt was already broken so I didn’t know where it was. Enable manual door operation by pulling on manual cord. Then place the carriage in that spot (open or closed) and connect the ends of the belt. If the belt seems too short, adjust the spring to extend the connector closer to the end. Once the link is connected, tighten the spring until the belt isn’t limp. Run the door carriage (without door enabled) and adjust up or down limits accordingly. Then connect the garage door to the carriage and check again and adjust if needed. Hope this helps.

Installing was pretty easy. I had some trouble programming travel limits and force adjustment. The main thing is to follow the instructions exactly. Don’t assume that it programs the way you think it does.

Great product. Easy to replace the old ones. Took about an hour to install. Longer time used to clean up the old mess.

Not as good as I thought it would be.
