This shoe horn is nice and sturdy. I've snapped countless plastic shoe horns trying to get my training shoes on (they are a tight fit) but this works great. The metal is thick enough not to bend while prying my foot into my shoes. The width of this shoe horn is fairly wide compared to some other shoe horns, which helps with displacing the force while jamming your foot into a shoe. Although the metal scratches very easily if you care about that. I just throw it into my bag so it gets scratched up. Great investment!

I picked up this shoe horn because my go-to daily shoes have an elastic “speed lacing” system for easy slip-on wear - but I’ve blown out the heels on the last two pairs from sliding them on on. I needed a shoe horn to allow slipping them on without damaging the shoes. This product is simple, but it feels sturdy and well-made. It has enough rigidity and a smooth curve to actually do its job, and it’s compact enough to keep handy without taking up much space. It works so well, in fact, that my wife has already stolen it for her own shoes. Nothing fancy, but if you want a solid, no-nonsense shoe horn that protects your shoes and holds up to regular use, this one does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It's inexpensive and will likely save me replacing shoes in the future.
