Enjoyed this book. Quite prefer these two to cash and Harlow actually. Book was nice to read and I love how stella is well and truly part of the family and fits nicely. I would recommend the book. Has nice female leads which is nice in a book series of this type of nature.

I also felt like the plot was less intricate compared to “make me”. BUT oh my god, I enjoyed this one nonetheless. the start was a little slow for me to be honest but by the lake scene I had tears in my eyes and at “sunflower tears” I was done for lolI enjoyed both finn and effie and them being torn between what they tell themselves they should be feeling and what they actually feel. all the trying to outsmart each other, show feelings just to plot something new etc was a joy to read. the awkward groveling and trying to work together and get to know each other's ins and outs was so heartwarming. we love a “bad guy but good for her” MMC.same as the last book, this one has a playlist that's meant to be listened to while reading with queues throughout a story. definitely something I enjoy a lot and which brings the book to life.I do wish this would have been a little longer and the different plot twists would have been explored a little bit more. I enjoyed the fast pace but especially the last third was very packed.overall I love the fox brothers and this series. for me, the first one definitely had more dark mafia vibes and I enjoyed the thriller / mystery aspect a lot. this one is a more fluffy story but loveable all the same. I already can't wait for the next book!

Some of the scenes in this book are insanely hot.Second in the series but can be read as a standalone if you don't read the first.Definitely check TWs for this book before reading

Cash Fox was a firm position holder at the top of my book boyfriend list. I regret to inform, his position has been taken over by his brother, Finn Fox. I am more than willing to relocate to Ireland to find bothers similar to the Fox’s and I will not regret my movement.I absolutely adore Fin and Effie’s relationship. Childhood “friends” to enemies to lovers? Sign me up. Both characters are quirky, witty, strong willed, sexy, bad-ass and won’t take no for an answer. The pair of them compliment each-other in the best of ways. They were completely made for one another. I fell in love with them both from the start and even after the end I’m left falling more and more in love with them both.I feel this story was very well written, the story line gripped me from the start to the finish - Summer did an amazing job writing Fin and Effie’s story. I wish their story wasn’t over but I definitely feel it ended in the most perfect way.Roan and Lochlan intrigue me - I’m patiently waiting to find out more about these because no doubt, they’ll also become firm position holders on my book boyfriend list.

He hurt her years ago, he didn’t protect her. Her father give her a job and she must do what he says. This put her in Finns sights and in danger.They both get themselves into something and the only way to protect themselves is to get married but that comes with more risks.Finns and Ef together were fire. I mean they set me a light many times in this book. Finn is pure sex. The chemistry between them is on another level. Both characters were written so well, they are so different but bounce off each other.Finn is a guy with a temper, he gets frazzled a lot which I loved. I laughed quite a bit reading.He looses control while still having control. I adores his dark side and his softer side. Absolutely loved his character, he made this book for me.He makes many mistakes but he makes up for them and realises what he’s done straight away.I do have to mention some of the plot I found to have gaps and details missing. For me important details were not there. I won’t say what they were because it will spoil it for readers. I did still very much love this read. But I am a reader who need back story, why, how, details and that’s what was missing for me.Definitely 4 ⭐️ for the characters.While it’s a part of a series this book can be read as a standalone.
