Pros: smooth with no sharp edges, lightweight but feels durable (good thing if it gets thrown by toddler). Buttons work well, with ease, and with a confirming ‘snap’ engaged sound for the tactile experience regarding the gentle force and very slight resistance of push to engage buttons; easy for all and I have arthritic hands. Lights go on without delay when flipping switches. Nephew will love this. Be mindful of the specs & dimensions/size board you’re buying as some are handheld and small and some are bigger. Cons: none at this time, it’s new. Things to consider: 1) Two small screws at the top hold the battery cover, need a small Phillips screwdriver to open and securely & tightly close battery compartment. This part is not for the child to attempt to ‘work on’ which is one reason that item states parental supervision. 2) Appears that any switch/light could be left on, (no auto shut-off mode that I’m aware of) so potential sooner than anticipated battery draining may apply for this reason and for general or heavy use of play. Extra batteries on hand might be a good idea. 3) Might want to put child’s name on toy in case it gets left someplace. I think this will be a well-enjoyed toy by all.

This is my 3rd purchase. Grandchildren were fighting to play with it so I bought one for each of them. Ages range from year and a half to 10. Lights and switches keep them entertained. So far the batteries have lasted 3 months and they keep them on. Great for car trips, home play or errands.

Great educational toy that babies actually like

I got this for my toddler for Christmas last year & he still plays with it this year!! It comes as pictured & is very durable. Everything is secured to the board so it’s safe & easy to store without worrying about losing anything.

Two young kids (3+ and 1+) have enjoyed playing with this one. The blue middle pushbutton failed a few months ago (still turns the light on but now works only as a momentary pushbutton instead of clicking on and off), but the rest of them keep working. haven't tried fixing it because it doesn't seem user serviceable; the case parts appear to be glued together, and the little yellow "hazard" panel at the top is where you replace the batteries. Oh well. It consumes so little power that it's no big deal to leave it on...paired with rechargeable batteries, it's easy to deal with. Love to see the kids playing make-believe with this thing, and learning to operate all of the buttons. Aside from that button it's built like a little tank. I was worried that the blue wire would be a weak point, but even with the kids carrying it by that wire, seems to work fine.

We bought this when son was about 8 months and he wasn't sure how to work every button but this was a great toy to grow with! Over time he figured every button and switch out and he still plays with it at 20 months. It's one of those toys he keeps rediscovering. Very fun to watch his little brain tick as he clicks away! Very happy with this purchase!! Also worth noting I try to go in behind him and turn them all off to save batteries but I've only had to change batteries once!

This is awesome, my son is a year and a half old and all he wants to do is unplug and plug back in electricals and switch light switches on and off hahah he’s so stoked with this and so am I, first go he used it for about 20 min. Only strange thing was I was expecting it to have sounds or music as it is like a sound board but all the quieter for me anyway! Haha definitely recommend

Good quality. Keep the little one busy

I agree with other reviewers that this is small. But also, it is a lot of fun. It kept my toddler entertained for over and hour turning things off and on. I now have moved it to the car toy storage so when I go to the dr or out to a cafe, I can grab it for quiet play. My 2yo and 3yo sometimes fight over it.
