This Zotac GTX-1650 Video Card was perfect for an older Windows 10 desktop computer! It made the computer considerably faster and significantly improved the overall graphics output quality. Note that even though this video card only plugs into one full-size (x16) PCIe slot, it does physically take up two slot widths due to the size of its cooling components. The GTX-1650 video card will also work with older generation PCIe slots on the motherboard. It was originally designed for Gen-3 slots, but is downward compatible for Gen-2 and Gen-1 slots. The only performance difference is the slower data transfer rates for the older generation PCIe slots. Even though the specifications state that the GTX-1650 draws power from the PCIe slot, it also has a built-in 8-pin connector for a separate power cable hookup from the internal power supply (if your power supply has these types of extra cables). Connecting a separate power cable to the GTX-1650 from the internal power supply would ease the power loading demand on the motherboard. The best part about this video card is that you can still download periodic video graphics driver software updates for the GTX-1650. The software updates include new audio, video, and USB-C drivers. These updates are especially handy to support the specialized features of new PC-based video games as they are released.
