Alkmaar Bed, Full, Grey

This bed frame worked out perfectly for me.The directions are very clear and easy to follow. My daughter put it together— including the drawers—— in just over two hours. Best “assembly required” furniture I have ever bought .

The indicator I needed to make my selection. It was between this bed frame and another, similar price points. Alas, this frame did not come with that lovely Prop 65 (Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.) warning! Additionally, this bed is easy to move on solid floors, not squeaky, though not planning on any rigorous movement as it is for my active, 80 year old aunt. The undercarriage storage is a must, especially at an age where you might be surrounded by your… collection of random wares. This bed helps keep my aunt’s room organized. No comment on installation as I had my partner assemble!

The bed frame itself is a very good buy. It went together easily and all the parts were present. The problem is the way the product was handled during delivery. There were several damaged parts, that were obviously bent and damaged during shipping and handling. Fortunately, I was able to repair & straighten them myself. But the manufacturer should do more follow up on the way their products are delivered.

Easy to assemble.. my 14 year old and i finished in about an hour. Headboard was easily adjusted once we realized the mattress was a little too tall. The drawers roll on the floor and are not attached to the bed itself but are larger than expected. The material is soft. The bed seems sturdy so far, but time will tell.

At first I was a little worried that the furniture wasn’t going to turn out all that but when it came and finally armed; it looked Fabulous! Easy to assemble, final product looked amazing!
