The 16A is intended for 230A circuits that carry less current, though could conceivably be used in the US if you had only a 15A shore power. **Q: Is this a an abyc compliant?** A: Although the unit functions properly, it is not ABYC compliant as designed, given that standard A-28.8.1.7 requires it to be marked "Fail-Safe per ABYC A-28" (among other marking requirements) and it is not marked as such. **Q: Will this work with 120v?** A: Yes.
