Review: Love it, would buy again as a gift for other crafters. - Absolutely fabulous, gorgeous colour pictures with clear concise instructions, perfect for all crafters of all levels. Buy this book with confidence as a gift or keep it for yourself as it is a go to book for all designs of flora from simple to more advanced. Lots of clever and striking designs for a plethora of projects. Very happy with my choice, great value for money couldn't be happier with my purchase. with thanks ~ Review: Incredible detail, beautiful photos, - I bought this book from a Marketplace seller - it got here fast and in beautiful condition. The book is a lovely blinding - softcover with full page colour photos. The thought put into this is dizzying! There are so many different patterns that the biggest problem becomes where to start! We're talking several types of leaves and roses, multiple kinds of violas, marigolds, sunflowers, daisies, there are butterflies and other critters, flowers that are very complex and some that are simple, it just keeps going. I'm kind of entertained to see if I ever can do all of these but I'm not sure! I actually bought this book to practice my knitting, but seeing as I'm much better at crocheting (I'm still fairly new to knitting), this book turns out to be useful to me. The patterns are fairly simple, even many of the ones marked as 'advanced'. As other reviewers have mentioned, this book is quite heavy on the crochet, but some of the cutest ones are knitted (the carrots, in particular!), so take it as an inspiration to learn something new if you're "just" a knitter or a crocheter. Finally, a word on how the book is organised. First there is an info/details/resources/etc section, then a directory of flowers - beautiful full page colour photos organising the patterns by colour, type, and so on. Then there are two sections: knitted flowers, and crocheted flowers. Within each one the patterns are divided by basic, intermediate, and advanced designs, which is a clever way to do it. Overall it's one of the most attractive and best-organised knitting/crochet books I've seen. It's so cheap that it's worth it even just as a book to leave on the coffee table and flip through.

Incredible detail, beautiful photos,
I bought this book from a Marketplace seller - it got here fast and in beautiful condition. The book is a lovely blinding - softcover with full page colour photos. Lovely book
This is a lovely book, already bought one for someone else who liked it. The flowers are knitted/crocheted mostly intended as embellishments. I will attempt to knit them proper stalks and insert wires in so I can display them in a vase, as I don't intend to stitch them onto bags, or anything else. The flowers are quite big, about life-size, (or almost). and the ones I have tried, snowdrop, poppy, chrysanthemum, are quite good. Although done in double knitting I think using the same instructions using 4-ply or 3-ply wool one could achieve rather more delicate appearance, as the DK is rather clumsy. There is variation in skill level, the crochet ones, can be tricky to follow but both written and diagrammatic instructions are given, and can improve your skill level with patience. Abbreviations, techniques are clearly given., Cotton is also used for some flowers, I've not done these, but I think they should be okay worked in wool. Overall, lots of colour, many different flowers, technical challenges, a good buy.
