As long as you really like coffee this is the one for you. It will give you that little boost mid ride,you do need to wash it down with a little water as like most gels it sticks in your mouth.

The flavour is like a poor quality cold brew coffee, but the effectiveness with the caffeine was worth it. Helped me to stay alert without feeling wired, and no side affects such as racing heart beat.

First off, these work - they've given me a stamina boost when I thought I was just too zonked to do any gym, and you feel that caffeine pep-up pretty quickly after downing one. That's not surprising, as the science behind them is what makes the difference in the company's other great workout product, Science in Sport 60 ml Go Isotonic Energy Gel Selection Box - Pack of 20 . The espresso flavour that I tried just isn't as pleasant and easy-to-down as the fruit variety pack, though, and I found there was a bit of a lingering aftertaste, so I'll probably be sticking with the fruity ones. For carbs + caffeine, though, you can't get a much easier boost than this.

Love SIS gels and been using regularly as easy to take and little mess. Need caffeine ones for my marathon. Tried these before a long run and omg, they taste foul! I love coffee, but these left a nasty taste. Couldnt shake it even 30mins into my run. They may be ok for some, but the after taste would really have me in a bad place on race day.

I’m not a coffee lover, but I was recommended these for my workouts. I used to feel nauseous after exercising, but after taking one of these, I felt energized enough to do the whole workout again! They’re great for recovery. I wouldn’t recommend using them outside of exercise or physical exertion, though.

Es hält was es verspricht. Schmeckt auch nach Espresso, aber der Nachgeschmack kann etwas zu intensiv werden. Daher beim Lauf immer mit einem Schluck Wasser einnehmen. Vor allem während eines (Halb-)Marathons oder Triathlons.

Throw them in your vest or pocket. Great taste and a good clean kick during training or a race.
