LED fans that perform as good as they look.
Corsair are a great brand and in all honesty I was expecting these fans to be as good as they are. I originally tried the red led fans but found the colour to be a bit obtrusive, especially at night. But the purple version I found much better. Rather than lighting up they instead spin up with a softer and more pleasant glow, whilst maintaining a striking lighting effect. The fans themselves are top notch. Shift loads of air at comfortable noise levels. I've optimised them to be totally silent when performing everyday tasks on my pc however, depending on the style of your case fan grills, you may hear a windshear effect. Also I found that installing silicon washers actually made them even more silent. One thing to note is that the more expensive non led version of these af120 fans actually come with rubber screw-hole inlays which significantly reduce vibrational noise, however you could, like me, save some money by spending an extra pound on silicon washers which pretty much achieve the same thing. Overall I can't recommend these fans enough. They push (or pull) a great deal of air through my case and do so whilst looking great and remaining silent.

Bright, quiet and cool
This lit up my case surprisingly well, I must admit. The red was proper red and was bright enough to make the upper half of case visible in my CM Storm Enforcer before I added LED strips. As for the sound, it's a lot quieter than my stock fans. In fact, I can't hear it at all over my PSU or CPU fans anymore. However, when it comes to extracting air from the case, it didn't perform quite as well as I hoped. While it functions reasonably well enough on idle, when it came to gaming my CPU was buzzing away to alert me of the temperature. Though this is just personal experience. I still only have a stock CPU fan after all. I'm just mentioning this as a warning to people in a situation similar to mine where the stock fan functioned well enough for temperatures in a stock cooling environment. Replacing it with this may cause a problem. I'd recommend you invest you money in upgrading the CPU cooler first and foremost. I just got ahead of myself a bit and have since installed the stock cooler to the top of the case to aid in cooling. Before anybody gets any ideas, I did install it correctly to extract the warm air.

Great fans, but with some issues
I never normally bother leaving a review but I felt I should as this product has some pros but also some cons. And with things like case fans these need to be addressed. First of all. Fitting the damn things. I don't know who at corsair thought it would be a good idea not to pre thread the screw holes. You have to thread them with the screws which if you are like me and don't have an electric screwdriver is a pain and requires a fair bit of effort. The amount of pressure I put on the fans doing it, I was convinced I was going to break them, and turned a ten minute job of fitting four fans into a 1 hour job. So keep that in mind. Appearance is stunning. I got mine in blue and they match perfectly with my case. The leds are not in the fans blades but are around the interior wall of the fans, and the lighting effect is how it is in the pictures. Genuinely love the look of these. And the biggy. Noise. This is a bit of an odd one. At low RPM's they are super quiet, like. Practically silent, and around the 1,100 mark is when they become slightly audible. But still perfectly fine. However for some odd reason. When they spin up to full wack, it's like the second coming is happening inside your case, they are insanely loud. If you plan on connecting them using molex and having them on full power all the time avoid these fans as they are deafing. Like genuinely absurdly loud, I had stock fans in my case before which weren't the quietest things in the world but they are nothing compared to the racket these things make. However if you are like me and have a fan controller (which i absolutely recommend purchasing, I bought an NZXT sentry 3 and it's perfect for my needs) which means they never really go over 70% speed anyway, these fans would be good for you. Overall. These fans are great. They are a faff to get fitted, and without the right equipment it sounds like a tornado is blowing through your case, but if you have the ability to control their speeds to turn them down a notch they are perfect. Plus. They have lights. Who doesn't like things with lights

High quality, great price when bought as dual pack.
Theres 2 things that people need to understand about fans that is not really made clear. High Airflow or High Static Pressure? I'll explain here so you can make the right decision by buying these or the SP120 (high static pressure version) High Airflow is for unobstructed (just a grill or air filter) and will push air a long distance very quickly. High Static Pressure is when you are pushing through tight spaces such as CPU heatsinks, tight/angled pc grills (like in corsair carbide 270R front grills or similar. I got these specifically for a cryptocurrency mining rig to clear hot air near my graphics cards (see images) but these work really well in a case too. Pros: * Push a LOT of air. * Very quiet * Look great * Good price for the dual pack (especially white) Cons: None that I found.

Bought 2 of these (and 2 of the 140 size) for the wife's PC build. Have used corsair fans for years without issue, and these are no different. The purple looks very accurate to me despite some reviews mentioning that it didn't really look purple "enough" for them ... whatever that means. Wife has an art degree. If she says it's a good purple, it is :) At any rate - fans are what you'd expect from corsair: well built, quiet at normal RPM, and install the same as any other case fan. Only gripe is that they aren't PWM controlled (only 3-pin), but nothing is perfect.

Corsair é sinônimo de muita qualidade na construção de seus produtos. Esse modelo de fan é muito eficiente, cumpre as especificações em manter uma boa refrigeração no gabinete. Auxilia muito bem o fluxo do ar, além de ser silencioso. Uso ele no sistema Push and Pull no radiador do Water Cooler Corsair H80i V2, maximizando a retirada do ar quente para fora do gabinete!

It's very hard to tell the color by the pictures you see here so I was a bit nervous when I ordered these, but the color is amazing! It is very similar to the color of a black-light. The translucent fan blades diffuse the light in a very soft and gentle glow, so you're computer won't be blinding you when you turn it on. As far as noise level, well I bought 4 of the 140mm for my case and 2 of the these ones to replace the stock Corsair fans on the H100i because those were noisy. I noticed right away a drop noise level with these. They aren't "silent", but they are reasonably quiet. Seriously, if you want a cool, dark purple, black-light like effect as well as great cooling with minimal noise, this is the fan to get.

Buenas gente. ¿Qué te gustó y qué no te gustó?
