A: Good question.  It's both.  There are directions to change the manual lock lever (inside the door) from counterclockwise (left) to clockwise (right).   By the way, I'm very happy with this product.

**Q: Is it Bluetooth capable, can you operate it through your phone?**
A: No it’s not.
