Works within 15 minutes, no water needed.
Boiron Allergy calm works as well as typical over-the-counter allergy pills, but I've noticed that it does not cause the drying out of mucus membranes like typical over-the-counter Allergy meds can do. I take this at first symptoms of high allergens, and within the first hour, it says on the package you can take one dose every 15 minutes for the first hour. And then after that, 3 or 4 times a day, taking a dose. I typically notice improvements in my symptoms within 15 minutes of taking the product. This brand has hundreds of other products for other Issues and all of the boiron products i've tried have worked fairly well and definitely worth having on hand. Unofficially, boiron products are often safe for pets as well. Although you'll want to research that on your own. But I understand that dogs can benefit from the boiron allergy pellets as well, and it's based on weight for the dosing. It has been a game changer for my dog who is highly allergic to everything outdoors, but gets relief within an hour or so of taking Boiron allergy. A seventy pound dog would take about three pellets.Whereas an adult human being takes five pellets as the dose. But like I say, do your research first, regarding pet doseage. This review is for people taking the boiron allergy, calm and it definitely helps everyone in my family. A nice benefit that they dissolve in your mouth with almost no flavor so they are quick and easy to take no water needed. It says to dissolve under your tongue.But with a small child, even if they crush it and chew it, it still has a noticeable benefit.
