Does the thickness of a downrod matter? I was going to get a 3/4” one. Does anyone have one they prefer? I see some say they had issues.

If is a standard down rod no the thickness doesn't matter I have 24 in on and works great don't forget to slide the switch to downward position as the fan is reversible

What light kit works with this?

They offer this fan with the light kit. I bought the one without the light kit and went through months to get it to work. I finally was able to get the light kit through Honeywell but then it did not have a pull chain so then I had to wire in a remote one. It was a real pain.

I have purchased several universal downrods for this fan and I am not having any luck. Has anyone found a down rod that is compatible with this fan?

I replaced an old fan and had the same problem with the holes of the existing 32-inch down rod not matching the new fan housing. I had to drill new holes in the down rod to make it work.
