My dogs are 8 and 11 years old. I refuse to put them through the stress of getting their teeth cleaned at the vet (not to mention it is extremely expensive and isn't effective at keeping the issue at bay). My pittie dogs are also vegetarian. So to find a plant-based chew is challenging, to say the least. These rice bones check all the boxes. After one month of giving them a half bone a day (I use a hammer to cut them in half because they are definitely hard), their teeth are sparkling clean. All of the caked tarter is completely gone. I have to say, I am astounded. I have given these to friends and family because of how effective they are, and the dogs LOVE them! I noticed other reviewers said they cut their dog's mouths. I have not noticed that issue, but I do only give them a half bone a day, not a full one. This product is a godsend for me and my pups!

We have 2 German Shepherd Dogs and they love these. We don't give them this treat often because they are on the expensive side, but our dogs go nuts for them. We don't like raw-hide due to safety concerns, so these are a great treat that they can gnaw on for as long as they last them and they seem to be easily digestible, which alleviates the concern for blockage. We buy these periodically throughout the year, and highly recommend them.

Gave one to each of my two Boxers. They lasted a long time, the dogs seemed to really like them, and I suspect they do a good job cleaning their teeth. The next morning, one of my dogs threw hers up. It was like a big pile of hard slimy navy beans. I'm concerned that it was not breaking down and dissolving quicker. My other Boxer had no issues with hers so ... I dunno? Full disclosure: One dog tends to have a more sensitive stomach, while the other dog could eat the Amazon delivery truck and not even burp.

Perfect after morning walk snack to get my 4-legged child to brush his teeth! He’s a big boy and aggressive chewer so these last only a few minutes but he enjoys those moments!

I bought this after I read that it lasted longer than ordinary treats … my black lab ate it in minutes! So it does not last longer but still is a good natural treat for my dog :)

My Dog loves these but they don’t last long with him!
