This looks great on my desk. However, sometimes the motor can be really loud.

My son loves this as a night light in his room. It works best constantly attached to a power source (as opposed to battery operated), has a lovely glow to it and is soothing to watch.

Cool lamp. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because when it runs on batteries, the light dies really fast. If you want the light on for an extended period of time, you have to plug it into a power outlet, which may or may not be inconvienient for you. It’s also a little bit noisy but you’ll get used to it

Poor quality, cheap plastic. Looks cheap and tackie and personally I wouldn't recommend unless you like cheap tackie objects in your home.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE 4 weeks later the propeller is making a horrendous noise and won't spin as much as before. No ball movement.Daughter saw this on a YouTubes asmr channel and it's amazing in reality. Helps her calm down and relax for bed time. It does have a slight motor noise but it's not to loud. I find most with a propeller are like this and have had some much noises.

Both my children have additional needs and the school nurse suggested getting a red light for them for bedtime. I saw these and thought they were pretty cool. I wasn't disappointed when they arrived. They were easy to assemble and they are a nice glow. My kids love watching the beads flow through the volcano bit. You can hear the motor running when it's on, but you get used to it.
