Worth it!
I was trying to justify buying a more expensive vanilla for the amount that I use-how different could it be? I took a smell of a new bottle from the store vs the Madagascar Vanilla Bean and there is no comparison! So this time I bought the larger size which brings down the per ounce cost. The Vanilla/bourbon version is excellent as well.

This organic vanilla extract has a rich, smooth flavor that really stands out in baking and even in things like coffee or yogurt. You can tell it’s made from real Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans — the taste is deep, slightly sweet, and not harsh or artificial at all. A little goes a long way, which makes it worth the price. It blends beautifully into recipes and gives that classic “homemade” flavor you want. Definitely a step up from basic store brands.
