I was a little hesitant to purchase this scale at first because I wasn't familiar with the brand. I read the reviews and weeded through the ones that were due to straight up lack of intelligence. The review by the engineer with the detailed calibration video was what convinced me to purchase this. (So if you look at the ratings, I recommend you take the time to read through the reviews and eliminate the bad ones that were written by people who got a scale that is beyond their capabilities.)I am a cosmetic formulator, so accuracy is extremely crucial. I have been using a fairly decent scale up to this point for my larger measurements, but wanted one that better suited for the lab. I have only used it a handful of times so far, but I am MORE than impressed by this scale!! The "industrial" feel is important when it comes to working with raw materials and small spills. This scale can take it! I was blown away by the accuracy (especially when I realized how off my other scale is!).It comes with a 500g calibration weight, but I bought an additional set of weights that range from 1g - 100g to check the accuracy and compare the readings to the smaller scale I use for .001g measurements. It was impressively accurate (with only 1-2 times being off by 0.01g). The built-in level is super helpful (and is what I've been missing with other scales) - I definitely noticed a difference in the output.As indicated, the scale does not come with a battery, and I'm not sure that you'd need one. Customer support was extremely helpful with a prompt response when I reached out to ask about the type of battery it takes - and I found the better deal for a quality battery on NewEgg for $13 (sorry Amazon!). I don't need/use the RS232 interface, so I can't speak to that.If you're looking for a decent, reliable scale in this price range, don't be apprehensive by the lack of brand recognition. I will vouch for this scale...and, based on my interaction with customer support, am confident that they would resolve any issues that might arise. I am super happy with my purchase, I highly recommend, and I would buy it again!!! (PS, this is NOT a compensated review...it is my true, honest feedback!!)

This scale/balance, I purchased for my wife's candle business. She started making candles a few years ago and her business has grown, and with the intent to always improve, she wanted to upgrade some equipment. We gave this company a shot. The shipment came quickly, and it was packed very well. The scale has improved the mixing ratios because of the accuracy... She wishes she had done this sooner, but since this is a new company, they may not have been around then. However, everybody in business was new at one time ... I think she got a quality piece of equipment for a fair price... She already wants to order another one .... Thanks Ruishan for taking the risk of being in business; you have improved my wife's business..

Has a large base and sturdy frame, digital with fast response, has tare/zero, does small weight to .001 grams, comes with a calibration weight of 500g, and has a plug (steady on), comes with a manual. The reason for giving it 5 stars was based on the above along with product price and delivery time.The company's response time is amazing - very professional. Communication was clear and quick (took less than 1/2 hour for them to respond) through email! The battery compartment is empty so if you only plan on using batteries, I suggest you contact the company for information on the battery type. I am thrilled with my purchase!
