This stuff is wonderful! It was very fresh and tasty
This stuff is wonderful! It was very fresh and tasty. If you are familiar w/this fruit, you will agree that the quality of the fruit in this jar is pretty good. The expiration date was around 1 year away and the label says the fruit spoils 10 days after you open it. Awesome!

Beware buying fruit that is not fresh.
This product was not sweet like the real fruit. I tried mixing it in a smoothie and within 1/2 hour I was sick and throwing up. I threw the rest of the product away.

A very weird fruit but supposed to be super good for you
A very weird fruit but supposed to be super good for you. The consistency is very strange but tastes okay. We used it in protein drinks.

Texture was slimy and taste was sour. Not worth the money. And what is with those huge hard black pits. Tons of them.

Some fruits are not meant to be canned or stored
This product was OK. Having eaten guanabana before, I am familiar with its delicious taste, raw and straight from the fruit. Obviously I am aware that this is not fresh fruit, but there are some fruits that fare pretty well even when processed and canned or stored in jars. Guanabana flesh is very delicate compared to other fruits and even with the mild pasteurization and addition of ascorbic acid, the taste is just not the same. The ascorbic acid meant to preserve it overpowers the fruit's natural flavor and texture, making it overly tangy. Others might find it OK. Props to the manufacturer for attempting to provide this hard to find fruit in a readily availabe product, but in my opinion this is just one type of fruit too delicate to process and store, without changing the taste altogether.

It is the REAL deal - just stored in a bottle!
The closest thing to picking it off the tree! I think a lot of folks here gave this a bad rating because a) they're expectations conflict with how the fruit really is; or b) they don't know how to use it. It is Soursop, folks - of course it's going to be a little sour, lol! When I got to taste this again recently in the Philippines, it was in shake form, after grating it off of a freshly-picked Soursop... brought back wonderful childhood memories :) Added some milk (or ice cream), some ice, and threw them all in the blender... Deeelicious!!

First of all I love Soursop and I was really looking forward to try this product. The taste was ok but my wife and I got really sick after eating it with nausea, vomit and headache. Perhaps it was spoiled.
