This is easily the best indoor grill that I have ever owned
It would not be an exaggeration to say that I absolutely love this grill. I have owned this grill for roughly 2 1/2 months and I can honestly say that I have never been happier with an indoor grill. I have owned several versions of indoor grills which have never failed to disappoint. They have always had issues whether it was insufficient cooking space, or that you can't remove the plates in order to clean it effectively. This grill is a pretty large grill. It can easily accommodate 3 to 4 large rib eye steaks without an issue. I love the fact that it is easy to clean, and the plates can be removed. That was a huge selling point for me. When I take the girls off to clean it after I have finished cooking, I can take a nice soft brush or a rag and carbon comes off of this thing like butter. Another thing that I like about this grill is that you can set it for various types of meats and it will let you know when the meat is rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, or well done. The meat comes off perfect every single time. It is seared and juicy with minimal checking of your food. You can also set the grill to a temperature where you're not relying on auto cook, if you desire. There is also a setting for frozen food. In short there are a lot of things you can do with this grill. It is very versatile. If you're a person that has trouble cooking meat to the right amount of doneness, than this grill is a dream. One other point that often gets overlooked from other indoor grills is the drip tray. Most grills have very shallow or relatively small drip trays to catch the grease that drips from the grill. The drip tray that comes with this grill is much larger than those that come with other grills. There is more than enough space in this drip tray to accommodate the grease drippings from your food. In addition, there is a slot underneath the grill in which the drip tray slides into. This keeps the drip tray secure so that if you were to move to grill by accident then the drip tray is not out of position to catch the grease coming out of your food. I think that is a very nice piece of attention to detail that All-Clad put into this grill. I will also add that this is one sturdy piece of hardware. Much of the grill is metal, as you would expect from a manufacturer named All-Clad. I would not hesitate to recommend this grill to my friends and family members. It may be a little bit expensive, but in my opinion, it is more than worth the investment. I would buy a second one in a heartbeat.

It's everything I hoped for. Convenience FTW!
You'd think that we Arizonans would be more casual about grilling outdoors, but we rarely do. Who wants to putter around outside in 100-degree heat? Or fire up a gas grill just to cook a couple of burgers? It's not worth the bother. But an All-Clad advertisement caused me to look closer at this indoor grill. I resisted the impulse, I truly did. For one thing, it's not a cheap item. It's bulky enough that "Where would we store it?" was an entire conversation. These gizmos can be a pain to clean. And, ultimately, would we use it frequently enough to justify the purchase? Then I got a windfall check, and I figured, "You never regret your luxuries." I'm glad we indulged. The premise is that you put the food on the grill, tell it what you're cooking (red meat, chicken, etc.), push a button to indicate that the meat is frozen, and the sensors identify the appropriate cook time. So far we've used the grill to make pork chops, venison chops, burgers, and chicken thighs, and it's been spot-on every time except the first experiment. Medium really is medium; rare has been rare. (That first moment of ineptitude is reasonable, as we were still trying to figure out the controls. It does take a little while to get the hang of it, but the "aha!" happens soon enough.) Figure that you can cook three or four items at a time (e.g. four chicken thighs). That's perfect for our two-person household but if you're making dinner for more people it'll be worthwhile to fire up your "real" grill or use another cooking method. Obviously this is meant for flat-ish stuff like chops; it wouldn't work for "beer can chicken" or other foods that don't lie down. It isn't any faster than using an outdoor grill, except in the sense of it preheating quickly. But it does have the convenience of "set it and forget it" so you can wander out of the kitchen while dinner is cooking... to a point. The grill has a reasonably loud beep to announce that your meat has shifted from, say, rare to medium; I can hear the beep in the next room but not at the other end of the house. Cleaning up is easy -- and I do not say such things lightly. I am not big on cleaning. But the grill plates and drip tray pop out (no cussing required) and they go through the dishwasher. That advantage is worth an Amazon review point on its own. I'd say something useful about how easy it is to store the grill, but I cannot honestly do so... because the grill has been used regularly enough that we never have bothered to put it on the shelf we allocated for it. I wouldn't plan on storing it on a top shelf, as the grill has a heft to it, but it's not so heavy that I'm loathe to pick it up, either. It comes with a teeny recipe book which is more "here are a few examples" than a cookbook. I got a little more inspiration from a library book (Ninja Foodi Grill Complete Keto Cookbook), which made me realize that the key is, "Just think in terms of marinading stuff." Though in general I have found you don't need to change your favorite grilling recipes at all. As with other All-Clad equipment, the construction is excellent. This thing is built to last. I expect to keep using this grill for years to come.

Best indoor grill I’ve ever used
I have been using it for a few weeks, testing the different setting. I love this grill for cooking any boneless, thawed meat. Steak, burgers, chicken breasts, fish filets, grilled sandwiches. The best part is cooking my steak med rare, take it off and leave my husband’s steak on longer till it hits medium, it will “ding” again when his is done so I don’t have to worry about overcooking. So far the clean up isn’t too bad, really hot water and most bits slide off grill but cleaning between ridges will take some time. CON: it has a setting for frozen meat, I’ll never use it again. Tried twice, beef steaks then pork chops. It didn’t cook evenly, outside overcooked to raw inside.

Very disappointed
This was a Christmas gift for my wife (who had requested a George Forman indoor grill). After much research, I felt this grill would be a better choice. Sadly I was mistaken. It overcooks everything! She tried cooking fish, burgers, pork chops and more. The photos are for panini's ...the temperature was just over the rare reading and they were very well done. Auto sensing said to cook to "well done". What the point of having a product that is supposed to cook food automatically to perfection, but unless you watch it carefully, that's not the case. In my opinion, the sensor to measure how long something should cook is way off. Even though you are selecting a specific item, the grill cooks everything to dry and way overdone. I agree the grill plates are heavy and squeeze every bit of fat out. I tried writing to All Clad thinking we possibly got a lemon -- haven't heard a word back. After reading a few recent reviews, I deciced to include my review here. My wife is a fan of All-Clad pans but this was a disaster. No I do not recommend this product! I should have gotten the George Forman.

Easy to use & Clean up- Great Grill Appliance
This table top electric grill is easy to use. There are grill marks on the meats that I've cooked on this grill. This appliance is easy to clean too. It doesn't heat up the kitchen when I use it.
