Very Effective and Easy to Install
I have a relatively modest system comprising stand-mounted KEF LSX active streaming speakers and an SD Acoustics Gemini subwoofer. Last year I added an Ifi AC Ipurifier to my mains distribution block, and noticed a significant improvement to the system. I decided to try the LAN Silencer to see if it would improve things further. My KEF speakers are hardwired together for the best quality replay, and I have my 'master' speaker hardwired to my (TalkTalk) router. I simply turned off the power, unplugged the LAN cable, plugged the LAN Silencer directly into the router, and then re-attached the cable to the back socket on the Silencer. It took far less than one minute to do! On power up the results were immediate and very obvious. The whole system souds far more musical and lucid, with greater focus, soundstage depth and precision, and a complete absence of the 'grainy' sound that sometimes plagued more dynamic material. Bass goes deeper and there is more 'air' aound individual instrruments with better timbral rendition. It is a definite system upgrade, and well worth the money IMHO.

It Definitely Works
I really thought this was going to be Snake Oil & fully expecting to return it. Used with a Naim NDX-2 & Audioquest Vodka, instant improvement: Deeper solid bass, extended top end, great vocals & an overall more analog presentation. A bargain in real terms.

Has added something extra
Used with Naim Uniti Nova & Neat SX1 speakers, connected directly into rear of unit. Definitely has added a little extra sparkle to the top end & improved imaging spaciousness. Not night & day, but worth having.

It works!
I ordered the iSilencer because, after adding ifi devices to my SoTM SMS-200 streamer, I still had the feeling something was missing. The ifi psu, re-clocker and DC filter each made improvements, So I guessed the iSilencer would do something. The only question was how much and would it be worth the cost? The quick answer is yes! I purchased the iSilencer for my headphone system but first tried it on my Firetv cube. The result was better sound, colour and image. I found myself watching the Ultra HD remake of Roadhouse thirty minutes into the film when I only intended to watch a few minutes. Next was the streamer. Again, I was almost through a whole album when I only intended to listen to one track. As much as I hate hi-fi cliches, an invisible veil did seem to be lifted, allowing me to hear details previously missing. I’m guessing this was caused by electrical noise in my switch. Oddly, I had previously tried replacing the supplied psu’s of the router and switches with ifi psu’s, assuming I would see or hear some improvement in either TV or hi-fi. As nothing seemed to change, I guessed the problem was elsewhere in the chain. It seems the switch was the bad boy after all. The moral of this story is, the 'bits-are-bits' myth falls apart in the real world and I need to order a second iSilencer for my Firetv cube. ***** UPDATE ***** I had to reconnect the iSilencer to my Amazon Firetv Cube because the image on the TV screen looked a little blurred after removing it to connect to my streamer. There was no choice but to order another iSilencer. As it has been connected to the always-on Firetv Cube for nine days, I had the opportunity to judge what impact burn-in has made. Taking the nine-day-old iSilencer and plugging it into my streamer, I was surprised to hear much deeper and wider sound stages on most tracks. Also, more reverb has been revealed and that gives clues to the recording space used. The 1977 debut album, Fanx Ta-Ra by Sad Cafe, always sounded poorly mastered to my ears. I have it on vinyl and CD and both sound thick and congested. The iSilencer helps a little by opening out the sound stage a little. I suspect the CD version sounds better because jitter introduced by the switch has been removed. For me, this has been a worthwhile upgrade. Some claim to hear no improvement at all, so I think it probably comes down to how resolving your system is.

It works.
It seems an expensive item at £89, but the amazing thing is that it works well. The sound stage is noticeably deeper, making musical instruments easier to place. Streaming music and video is more enjoyable. Worth a try.

Made sound worse, with drop outs.
I have a quite a high end system about 15k worth. This thing held the sound back, which in a little way was nice. However it also started causing some drop outs. Returned. Perhaps if you have a cheap system it might help something.

Significant sonic improvements
It's hard to imagine the improvements that can be made by cleaning up the ethernet signal. I always thought my system sounded pretty good, but after reading a couple of reviews I decided to try it and after plugging it into my Bluesound node 2/Cambridge Audio 851/ATC SCM11's, I sat back and listened in amazement. The background noise had fallen, detail, dynamics, depth and soundstage have all improved and it's more relaxed and easier to follow vocals and individual instruments in the mix. I believe it can take a couple of weeks to bed in so if it's going to get even better then I'm sold on this little gadget. It's a definite keeper for me and definitely worth a try if you're looking to squeeze some more out of your system rather than making an expensive upgrade.

Yes It Works
There are many "knowledgeable people" who will tell you that digital sound is just 0's and Ones - and as such nothing can affect the sound quality of streaming audio. They will also likely tell you that when files are transferred through an ethernet cable they either arrive perfectly or don't arrive. Now the latter is true but streaming audio is not just about getting the digital signal through but also the consistency of the timing of the signal, and also it's lack of noise interference. This is where the Lan isilencer is effective, is it night and day? probably not - is it worth having? Yes.

Made a meaningful improvement in streaming SQ for relatively small investment. Highly recommended if you have a resolving system and don't want to invest big $$$ into audiophile filters and switches. Provides wider/deeper soundstage with added refinement and reduced digital glare. Also improves the SQ for local playback by isolating server/streamer from noisy network switches.
