Fast delivery and capacitor worked perfectly. Some reviews said they didn’t last long but so far all is well and the money you save by using this capacitor and not having to pay for a service call for an AC company who would also charge you labor and a restocking fee make this item priceless. Capacitor seems well built. Time will tell. I bought 2 just to have a spare for next time.

Since the capacitors tend to go out every now and then, I like to keep a replacement on hand to keep the pump running. The pump itself is on a timer so it runs 16 hours/day, not continually as most pumps are set to do. I have never used this brand before, but the specs were right on the money and the shape is the right size for the pump I need it for. It's a simple procedure to switch out the caps, but since it is cold weather now, I won't try it until warmer weather gets here, probably around the first of June. More later after I try it out, but I expect it to work just fine from the spec info..

Pool pump motor would only hum and not start. Luckily, I had a 35 uF capacitor on hand, as a spare for a 2-ton HVAC condenser unit. That 35 uF capacitor was physically too large to be permanently installed on the motor, but I used it to test/prove that the capacitor was the problem. I then ordered this one, it is a perfect fit, and the motor is back to running again. The most important part of this review is likely that the capacitor is a perfect fit replacement for this pump. You'll see review of other, similar-looking 30 uF capacitors, where the complaint is that they are slightly too large in diameter for the capacitor cover to be replaced on top of them. That is not a problem with this one.

This worked like a charm. My Heyward 1.5 HP pool pump would hum but not run. I was in the process of dropping another $1k for another pump when I decided to take it apart and see if it was just debris. once apart, I could get it to run by giving it a manual spin which, according to the internet collective, meant that the "starting capacitor" had taken a dump. I got the specs from the old capacitor, they matched this capacitor exactly, received it in 2 days, and installed it in less than 10 minutes. Pump runs like a dream and saved big money. Very pleased.
