Worth the price ... does the job
Built like a tank. Heavy! Find a sturdy place to mount this monster and you're in! Easily does what it claims to do ... makes precision cuts of 200-300 sheets. Handle comes off easily to reduce vertical footprint. Just what I needed.

Great, heavy machine for accurate, clean cuts
I operate a small business producing cards and gifts, and I print all my stuff- hence, I need to cut it. This has been a lifesaver. I tried other paper cutting machines, and none of them really convinced me. Some were outright awful. This machine works great. It cuts paper with ease and produces clean, accurate cuts. The only downside is that it doesn't work too well for small amounts, but it shines when I have a pile of 100 sheets to be cut in one go. Easily.

Pretty good, not perfect
Cuts through thick bundles of paper. If not pressed hard at the end it could crease the bottom page or two, but doesn’t cut all the way through. The press lever is slanted so you have to crank it hard to hold the paper in place. I find it pushed the paper backwards under the press while cutting, but it doesn’t affect the cut. The measure stopper is a little frustrating to move and use because it doesn’t lineup totally straight. But over all it works for me and what I need it for!

Sharp, clean cuts
Works really well, a bit of a finnicky back guide that needs extra lining up to get a proper 90degree cut but otherwise well within what I had hoped for. A word of warning though, the blade is exceptionally sharp and the guard is not perfect for this reason...I wont go into details on how I learned this.

a bookbinders best friend
life changing. goodbye sandpaper, hello crisp edges. it’s a little finicky and it definitely takes some experimenting to make sure you get even edges (and i’m still improving) but what i don’t think negative reviewers understand is that it’s a tool you need to learn to use. figuring out the right amount of pressure for the thickness of your paper and textblock to keep your edge straight is a process. it’s not the best tool for something that needs to be 100% precise, but it’s accurate enough that i can confidently measure to 1mm increments and with practice guess to an even 0.5mm.

Best stack of paper cuts!
Wow this cutter is amazing! It is heavy duty put also doesnt take up a lot of space. It has plenty of safety guards so you dont have to worry about inuring yourself. Cuts paper very cleanly and with minimal effort! I used this to cut 23 pages of thick rough textured watercolor paper and it sliced through it like butter, even the edges are super clean! I'm really impressed and highly recommend this for some serious time saving!!

Cutting blade isn't squared to platform
Cuts good on large stacks of paper but cutting blade is not square to platform

Super disappointed
I want to love this but it needs upgrades. I was able to cut one book. (50 pages) the handle part that you hold when cutting broke (the inside part) and then it would not stay on. The adjustment part for the measurement section also broke. The inside washer fell into the equipment and it took me 15 min with a tweezer (like operation) to get it out and fix that part. The handle was not fixable at all….so one book cut and now it’s being returned.
