I am not sure about the cost but looking into this Miter Box and 1200 INR cost, it certainly looks "very" costly to me. I cannot complain as the import duties are the way too high and as a consumer, we have a dependency on Taiwan and China for such miniature items.The problem with this item is that they don't provide you screws which can fit into the Miter Box holes. I have to get 10 different types of screws but not a single had fitted into this. I did it the hard way and use the Bosch Drill Machine (forward way rotation please for the screws otherwise you'll bun your drilling machine too) to pierce the screws into the tiny hole of Aluminium Miter box.I was like saying to God that thank God cows does not fly!

The worst product...no use , over priced product...

good size for small aluminum moldings, tubing or plastic rod. can be mounted to a bench or table to make cutting easier. fairly precise straight and bevel cuts.

For the small projects that I've been working on, this little aluminum miter box has been a time saver. I only use it for small pieces of wood so I used the two mounting holes to install a thin piece of wood to keep myself from bottoming out into the aluminum. It works great and is much better than the plastic ones.
