Windsor Prose Bespoke Writers Gift Set

I ordered this set as a Christmas gift. It is quite attractive, and the wooden box is great from the outside. However, the box itself is hollow and the compartments for the things are made of paper, paper that tends to fall off surprisingly easy. I had to fix everything myself using two sided tape. The quality of the nibs is also not superb at all. I am not saying that is bad, but just good enough. In summary, I think that is a good gift, but a bit expensive and not for serious nib users.

Totally agree with above review (which I wish I'd read!), although I am even more disappointed. From the picture the inside looks nicely lined with cloth as a writing set should be, but in reality this is cheap printed paper inserts, and the pens are a rather stupid "fake distressed" material. Caused me a lot of embarrassment as at this price I thought it was a quality gift to give to someone wheras instead it is mostly a cheap Chinese made rip-off. Shame on the seller/manufacturer.
