I’m an avid DIYer and bought these to install a shelf on a plasterboard wall. Came well packaged in a bag of inserts separate to the bag of screws. After making a suitable hole in the plasterboard the insert could be inserted and thanks to the design the insert would hold itself in position. Screws could be inserted to tighten to fix the insert in position but upon tightening it was soon apparent there was something amiss. The screw turned for ever. On removal of screw and then insert it was apparent the screw had pulled the plastic out of the screw hole. Thinking it was a one off I tried a second insert from the pack and a second screw, but guess what. The same happened. I then tried an insert and screw combo in my hand and noted it took very little force to pull the screw thread through the plastic at the end making these inserts beyond useless. I’m thinking either the wrong screws were supplied or the hole in the end of the insert has been moulded a little large. I would have returned them but the bin was far closer. To fit the shelf I popped to the local chain DIY store and bought the same item which worked fine. I wouldn’t recommend these

These are great, easy to use, would be VERY useful if the packaging told you what size drill bit you need though! 13mm worked (just about!), 15mm would work much better. You’ll also need a hammer to tap this into the plasterboard.

A little flimsy but did the job

Whow this products is great had tried different fixtures due to internal wall and putting tv on all was making hole bigger quality brill, fit excellent value foe money and strength still holding my tv on the wall

These are probably ok for very light items, if carefully installed. I found that the screws provided are just barely long enough to catch the back piece of the plug, so if you've got anything thick on your side of the wall to go through first (e.g. a bracket between the plug and the screw head), you've got no chance. The other issue is that the plastic is so soft that you can just pull the screw straight out. I wouldn't trust these to hold anything heavier than a picture frame.

Sérieusement je vous déconseille vivement ce produit la vis une fois la cheville ouverte entièrement pour rentrer dans le mur entre à peine dans le trou une fois visser surtout ne dévissez pas impossible de fixer les pattes à rideaux car bien évidemment il faut régler l'épaisseur de la pâte donc je vais aller acheter des vrais chevilles Molly qui elles ont fait leurs preuves

il faut percer le placo avec un foret de 1mm plus petit que la cheville sinon on arrive pas à visser la vis la cheville tourne dans le placo
