Accurate, easy to use. Used it to make soft syrup and thermometer long enough not to get burned.

Randomly turns off sometimes
Works good enough for my purposes (candle making,) but it randomly turns off sometimes which can get pretty annoying. Besides that it’s perfect! Tells temperature relatively quickly and has been fine in close contact with water and hot wax. Worth it for the price in my opinion.

It's an amazing kitchen tool! Now we use it almost on a daily basis, even for things before unthought of - temperature of water for tea or coffee, even as a medicinal thermometer in the armpit (yes, however ridiculous it may sound, this thermometer is way more precise and faster, than any fancy medicinal thermometer I've ever purchased, which is a shame for the medicinal thermometers, honestly).
