The soles are a very spongy foam. Only have had a week and the heal is sinking.The sole is like the 5 dollar shoes at Walmart.This is not a 100+ dollar work shoe.NOT THE SELLERS FAULT.This shoe is just bad quality.

I ordered these in my husbands normal work shoe size and unfortunately they seem to run a tad bit small, he really needs a half size but they don't offer the size that he needs. Upon receiving the shoes they do seem to be really good quality and my husband said they were comfortable enough to walk in, not too heavy. I really like the durability of them and the protection the composite toe has to protect him while he is working. They are a good looking shoe too, not too bulky or industrial looking, they really do look like normal sneakers if you aren't paying close attention. Again, they would have been much better but they do run small so grab a couple sizes to compare before you settle on one.

I was surprised how comfortable these shoes were very well made, ofcourse caterpillar is a big brand so I would expect nothing less from them. And as far as safety shoes go these are top notch comfortable, I'm not sure the difference between a composite toe or a steel toe I think it's comfort maybe and they are quite comfortable. I'm going to be wearing them in the garage and when I'm out in the yard doing yard work. The fit was great. And very well made. I definitely recommend them if you're looking for a safety shoe that has comfort that you can wear all day.

This review is for Caterpillar Venward composite toe work shoes. My first impression was that these are very sharp-looking shoes, and they seem well-designed and constructed. I love the look of the suede and mesh exterior, as well as the caterpillar logos, and all of the stitching seems very well done. I normally buy size 10 wide in sneakers, but ordered size 10 in these (because 10 wide was not available) and they fit beautifully anyway. I've worn these for several days now, and they are very comfortable, especially for protective work shoes.The soles are nice and grippy, and the toe area bends easily. I prefer composite toe caps over steel because they won't absorb and transfer heat/cold to your toes, when working in a very hot or cold environment. Composite toe caps are also preferable for job sites that require using metal detectors, as electricians often do.So I'm 100% pleased with these Cat work shoes, and at an asking price of around $115 believe these are a great value, for this kind of quality. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First impression is that "I cannot believe Caterpillar knows how to make shoes"? And it's a very nice pair of shoes as well. There was not a lot of options for sizes, so I got half a size larger than I usually wears and it actually fitted pretty well due to my wider than usual feet.The look of the shoes is pretty good, we got the yellow/black and it looked just like the image and the design is exactly as we expected. In fact, we actually liked every single color pallet they had so that's a very good job on the design there. The design chops does not stop at the colors, these shoes has a lot of small details that comes together very well in the final product and I really appreciate them, making this pair of safety shoes actually practical to wear in everyday settings.The shoes is a bit heavy due to the composite toe but still wears very comfortably, aside from the weight, it feels exactly like a pair of running shoes. The overall finish and the craftsmanship of this pair of shoes is very good and highly recommend for those who needs this type of foot ware.
