A knife amongst the best--for cheap
These knives offer top-notch quality at a fantastic (though increasing!) price. I've owned and used these knives for years; they're my go-to for camp cooking and processing meat for the freezer. I'll start with what I like best about them: the blade. It's 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel. Now, I don't know what the heck that means, exactly, but it *sounds* good, doesn't it? What I can say with confidence is that after using them to process dozens of rabbits, elk, and deer, in addition to everyday cooking tasks, the blade can still shave my arm hair. I don't think I've sharpened them, yet. Since my attempts at sharpening knives have a 50/50 chance of leaving them worse than I started, the Morakniv's ability to sustain an edge is an absolutely outstanding feature. Second, the grip. A quick glance at the product description tells me it is made of TPE-rubber. Again, I don't know what that means. What I can say is that it feels really good in the hand, and it is one of my favorite knives to use in 'wet' conditions. Nice and grippy and soft without being squishy. It also makes it easy to wash. Third, the sheath. I don't know if the sheath is made with some fancy material or not, and I'm too lazy to look it up for you. But I can say it is a robust, well-fitting sheath that won't come off if you throw it in a bag or box that jostles around. Perfect for a knife that goes camping with you. The sheath has a sort-of belt loop thingy for wearing it, but I really don't see a scenario where I'd use this knife in that fashion. It's not really an EDC or bush knife. But it's there if you like that sort of thing. Is there a downside? Well, I wouldn't use it as the field dressing knife in my 'kill kit', for one. It's a bit big for that, and while the blade is sharp, I don't quite trust it to have the razor-sharp edge I need in my kill kit. Also, I think someone must've let it slip to Morakniv that they're making a really, really good knife at a low price point, because I've been watching prices slide upward over the years. I think the first one I bought, I paid something like $12-14. Now they're up around $20. And again, I would not consider this an everyday carry knife, though, like any sharpened piece of steel, it can do all the stabby, cutty things any other knife would do. If you're in the market for a quality knife at a great price, I don't think the Morakniv will do you wrong.

Great yet inexpensive knife
First impression was "It looks cheap". But upon further inspection it is certain that it's nothing of the sort. It has a razor sharp tough blade, a tough and sticky grip rubberized handle and the hard plastic sheath is well thought out to secure the knife in it or on you belt or other fastener without a chance of falling out. I'll be mounting it in my 4x4. For the price a great knife.

Perfect tool, at such excellent price
A wonder knife for $15 What a beauty. Only for $15. This knife arrived right on time. It is really and excellent knife, came razor sharp. It will do everything a $400 fancy knife does. These Swedes are not playing around.

Quality Swedish knife made for anything
Want an inexpensive workhorse of a knife? Get one. Or 2 or 3. I did. One is in my truck, camping gear bag. Bug out bag. They are extremely durable and grippy. I can’t say enough good things about them. Don’t waste your money on expensive knives that are meant for abuse. Get a few and see.

Great little knives!
Can’t go wrong with a Morakniv! Good quality, great price. I keep several of them stashed around just in case.

Inexpensive but good
A good general purpose fixed-blade knife. Nothing fancy, but Morakniv makes all kinds of knives ( I have several in my shop) that are made of good steel that keeps and edge and is easy to sharpen. The blade here is fairly thick and can be used for prying at stuff in a pinch. When compared to knives made by the big knife makers, this doesn't compare to my similar Benchmade knife, but as an inexpensive tool it does a pretty good job. Not a tool I'd bring into combat, but it's quite good for a camping trip or an around-the-house tool and not a heartbreaker if it got lost. The handle is comfortable in my medium-sized had and the plastic/rubber handle provides a good grip. Comes with a cheap plastic sheath that does the job.

good for gentle wood work, not a batoner, super value
comes very sharp out of the sheath and is a carving beast: eats wood with a minimal effort due to the scandi grind. on a flip side, does not slice but chops through fruit and veggies (expected). hard to find anything comparable for $15. stainless on top of this all a word of caution: do not try to baton things with this knife, this was after going through a soft 2x4. Mora advised not to baton with blades thinner than 3.5, I guess the heat treat on $15 Sandvik is not baton proof.
