Does this product work if you don't use the curl cream with it?

You don't have to us Mielle's curl cream but you should use some sort of moisturizer before applying.

How heavy is the mousse vs the curl cream? How good is the hold?

I need a strong hold 4 to 5. What hold does this mousse give on natural hair?🙂

My hair is type 4 BUT kinky and curly combo hair … I have to use hair gel after using this product to get decent hold. My experience with this product is I’ve had to use it in conjunction with ECO hair gel, by itself it didn’t provide the hold I desired. Hope this helps.

Has anyone used this on their locs?

Yes. It maintains your locs and softens your hair. Also you don’t have to reapply daily
