I've bought a few cheaper alternatives which have leaked or have been awkward. Whilst the opening to this is quite difficult to get in to, I've now used this on 2 trail races and it's been relatively easy to fill up at water stations and I've had no leaks or issues. Well worth the money.

Easy to use. Easy to clean. Just leave it open so it dries. the supply hose is a little long but its easy to trim and replace the suck valve. Just remember it weighs 1.5kg. One downer is that Salomon no longer sell the insulating sleeve. So get creative if its important.

Its flexibility, ease of cleaning, and leak resistance make it a reliable choice for trail runners and hikers. While there are minor considerations regarding the mouthpiece and hose length, they don't detract significantly from its overall functionality.

Water bladder works well and is easy to use but did leak once into the rucksack when I mistakenly overfilled it.

I bought this to fit in my Salomon Adv Skin 12. It's a perfect fit (as it should be) and, although a little fiddly to weave the hose through the feeder holes in the running vest, once you get used to it, it's no problem. It's ideal for longer training runs when you don't necessarily have stations where you can fill your flasks. I use this for water and flasks for electrolytes. The hose is fairly long but I tuck it into the front chest straps – I then don't have to stretch or move my head to be able to drink. The wide opening at the top enables you to fill it up on the move without taking it out of the whole vest, and it also allows for easy cleaning.

Ich habe schon einige Trinkblasen getestet, aber diese hier hebt sich definitiv von der Konkurrenz ab. Ich konnte keinerlei Eigengeschmack feststellen, die Blase ist von der ersten Anwendung an neutral (natürlich spült man sie bitte vorher einmal aus). Die Reinigung ist durch die große Öffnung denkbar einfach, die Trocknung leider ....(wie bei allen Trinkblasen) nicht. Warum erfindet eigentlich keiner mal ein wirklich gutes Tool, worauf man die Blasen trocknen kann?? Schlauch, Mundstück und Anschluss machen einen stabilen und hochwertigen Eindruck, hier gibt nichts auszusetzen. Natürlich habe ich es am Anfang nicht lassen können und die Trinkblase im gefüllten Zustand ein bisschen gequetscht...hier hielt alles dicht. Die Blase hielt auf allen Wanderungen sehr gut die Kälte des Wassers, dass hat mir sehr gefallen. Wenn ich überhaupt etwas zu kritisieren hätte, dann wäre eine Abdeckung für das Mundstück eine super Sache, das wird auf Dauer doch etwas dreckig. Klare Empfehlung, die Preis Leistung stimmt.

I got this for a Salomon Active skin 8 running vest. I had to use YouTube to firstly work out how the reservoir opens, and secondly how to fit in the vest (if you do quick search you should find the vids I’m talking about). Once I did that it was all straight forward and the system worked well. Very happy with it. PROS: good quality and reasonably priced, information about usage easily available. CONS: lack of instructions from manufacturer
