A: It is mostly mulch and hardly any seed.

**Q: Can you apply in fall in the deep south or should i wait till spring?  thanks.**
A: You should be able to apply it in the fall as long as you are watering sufficiently.  People often make the mistake of not watering plants just because it's cool.  Fall planting would actually give the plants more time to get started.  I planted Bermuda grass with my centipede knowing that centipede "sleeps, creeps and leaps" and takes a number of years to get thick and established enough to crowd out other weeds and grasses.

**Q: What kind of grass seeds should i use in san antionio tx 78148 /have two lager trees / and lots of sun / tem 100 +**
A: Tall fescue is a cool season grass. It goes dormant in hot summer months but does well in cool spring & fall. I wouldn't plant that in San Antonio. I would plant Bermuda,  carpet grass or centipede.
