Worst seeds
There are very few seeds in the bag. After planting them, very few grew out. I would strongly recommend include more seeds in the bag in case we have limited of them grow out.

Viable Water Spinach Seeds. Packaging Could Use Improvement.
When I looked up this type of plant, I saw that its common nickname is “water spinach,” and though I don’t think I’ve ever eaten any, its characteristics appealed to me enough to want to try some. I’m trying some seeds grown as microgreens using the jar sprouting method, and then I’ve added a couple other seeds to my automatic hydroponic grower. The main packaging has a press-zip closure and what appears to be a Mylar lining inside. The seeds inside the main package were then sealed within another plastic baggie that had to be torn open. The main packaging shows a picture of the plant but has no label to include its name, so I wrote it on myself. It says that these are non-GMO and that they were grown in the USA. Helpful growing instructions are on the back, but the product sticker Amazon placed over them did not peel off easily, making the instructions difficult to access and read, which, of course, is not the brand’s fault, so I won’t remove stars for that. I haven’t yet been successful getting any of these to sprout in a microgreens jar, so I may have to change up my methods and do some more research on what works best. Right now, I suspect they’re not staying wet enough. In my hydroponic system, the two seeds I sowed have both sprouted and are already looking nice. Overall, I’m pleased with this packet of interesting seeds, and I look forward to trying some water spinach microgreens as soon as I figure them out and some mature leaves and shoots in a few months.

Plants Can Grow in Soil vice Water.
6/13/23 Update. I've gotten like 95% germination rate. Important to soak the seeds in water for the 24 hours before, then the seeds sprout in 2 days. Excellent. I transported the seedling to my hydroponics tray. Extremely hardy plants. After 7 weeks, the plants are about 6 inches high. Extremely satisfied with the seeds. Original, 4/19/23. These seeds came extremely fast and I'm in Hawaii. I'm familiar with the Ong Choy vegetable, but the variety I'm used to is grown in water. So when I saw that this seed can grow in soil, I was excited to try them. I will actually try to grow them in an aquaponics setup. The seeds came in a plastic pouch within a mylar package, nicely printed picture and instructions. My only gripe is that the product ID sticker was placed over the instructions. I was able to relocate the sticker. The first step in the instructions was to soak the seed for at least 24 hours. After soaking for about 20 hours, a few seeds started to spourt, so that was impressive. I transferred the seeds to a soil media. Will report back on the progress of the seeds and plants.

Healthy and Delicious Vegetable
Kong Xin Cai as known as water spinach is a common vegetable in Asia. It has no relationship with spinach, and doesn't really taste like it or look like it. In fact, it is closely related to sweet potato, whose leaves are edible and resemble Kong Xin Cai. In the US, it is found in Asian grocery stores. It is a tasty green and very versatile. Kong Xin Cai can be made in stir fries or just steamed on its own with some salt and garlic. These seeds germinate rapidly and grow into healthy plants. They are easy to grown as long as you keep the plants well-watered. You can start harvesting the young plants after a month. You can also allow it to get taller. The hollow stems add a somewhat crunchy texture to dishes. Calling them a non-GMO product is absurd because there is no GMO Kong Xin Cai anywhere in the world. It only stirs to stoke the fears of those who don't understand GMO technology.
