Super easy to prepare with the same texture you get in the shops!
I was able to cook up a batch of delicious homemade boba very quickly. It literally tastes just like the boba in the boba shops, except at my home to make my drink just like I want it. From the moment you open the bag, you get a sweet smell coming from the uncooked pearls that lets you know you are on to something good. The instructions were on the back of the label and I followed it precisely to get my amazing results. The quality and texture of the boba was delicious and the perfect bit of chewy. You can alter this by simmering longer if you like. These are fun to add to a drink that offers the fun chewy black pearls that make a drink so much more than just a drink. I have been enjoying these delicious additives to drinks for over 20 + years and I love them. They don't really hold much of a nutritional value with them having no fat and includes sodium and carbs. For me they are a treat that I love to eat and sip through the large straws. I do treats of ice cream and cupcakes on occasion too. The bottom line for me with these is the chewy texture you get and these were commercial grade that were like the ones in shops. Whether, you enjoy them with sweet milk, coffee or tea to me these enhance the whole vibe of the drink. I have already used them in the traditional Thai sweet tea and with coffee and I like them both. Note that for the single cup of boba I cooked, I was able to make 5 drinks with all the boba you need to feel satisfied. Basically a single bag can yield you 2 one cup batches. They have directions for microwaving, but honestly, I prefer the good old stove top method best. I boiled my water (10 cups), add 1 cup of boba to the boiling water, give it a gentle stir. Once they float to the top (happens quickly), lower the heat and cover for another 2-5 minutes (depending on the texture you want). Then chill for 20 seconds in cold water. Strain and for the finishing touch I sprinkled /stirred some brown sugar and that was it. Done in a few minutes. I used sugar in the raw and it was super delicious. It is very easy to whip up a batch of these anytime you like. The above instructions is exactly what I did to get these boba (see my photos). Get your big boba straws ready for this treat. All in all, this brand of boba hit the mark for me and I plan on ordering more from them soon to share with family and friends. I received 2 bags 250g each and feel for the quality, taste and ease of use It is a good value for the money.

Great boba - quick to prepare and good texture
I tried making boba for the first time and it worked out really well. I have followed the instructions for boiling and simmering for 3 minutes each. Overall I really likes the texture, how easy it was to prepare and the taste. It is also easy to store (pre-cooked) as it comes in a bag that does not need to be refrigerated. I have paired it with my boba whey protein shake and it was perfect. My only two points of improvement are that I would prefer to have optional instructions, if I wanted to make it lightly sweet like the boba pearls that we get in boba shops and also how to store them if you don't consume it all. Because I did end up consuming it all it was not a big deal, but I wanted to know.

Boba is fresh, tastes great and is quick to prepare.
After leaving Atlanta and all it's great Asian restaurants and stores, it's been a struggle to live on the Florida Treasure Coast. Calling it a culinary wasteland would be generous. Thankfully, I can get my boba, and most of my international favorites, from Amazon. About the comments that it is too hard or too soft (haha Goldilocks at the stove), absolutely not true! Bring the water to a roiling boil, then add the boba and cover. Usually takes 3 minutes for them to puff and rise to the top. Keep an eye on them and don't walk away. Strain and enjoy. Perfect every time. If I don't want them in tea, I put them in a bowl with a bit of honey and rose water, then top with milk. Decadent but not as loaded with sugar.

Amazing for price
Cooked urs fantastic, add some water and extra sugar to draw out flavor and boom better than what you'll receive in a boba. Even with some tap water, 1 minute and 30 seconds in the microwave, and a few table spoons of your average granulated sugar each pearl came out chewy and soft. Speaking of how long it takes to make, it may just be that my microwave is powerful but it only took roughly 1:30 seconds to finish, meaning it's very fast to make. It came well packaged and nothing was broken not even the plastic bag both of the bags of actual product came in. But at the same time the seal on the bags... You can't reseal unless I was missing something. Points taken down for how bad they tasted raw but you can't expect perfection can you? Overall 9/10 would definitely recommend for others who are impatient but still want good boba. (Ps. Brown sugar would most likely work farrr better than normal sugar but that's all I had at the time of writing this 🙃)

Great for homemade milky boba! DIY for a fraction of the cost, totally customizable.
These are really easy to cook up. They intimidated us for awhile because the instructions say 10c of water to 1c, then add some indiscriminate amount of brown sugar, etc. but really, just plan on cooking them like pasta then sweeten to taste (or not). We cook ours according to the directions and add them to half a can of sweetened condensed coconut milk. We then add some of that mixture to our cups, flavor with a little syrup (butter rum is delicious!) and add almond milk, water, and/or ice to taste. These are delicious! They look just like what we'd get at a boba shop but for a fraction of the cost and ultimate customization! We have learned they do NOT keep in the fridge for any amount of time so I recommend indulging immediately.

Brown sugar FLAVOR, not sweet
They don’t have any sugar in them. They are not sweet at all but the consistency is good, the cooking was easy, but I just expected them to be sweet when I got done as I plan to put them in the bottom of Boba tea.

These cook much faster than the regular boba. Also, they are sweetened with an artificial sweetener which makes them calorie wise. I prefer the regular boba however, these are a good choice if you are in a hurry

Very impressed - easier to work with than other pearls I've purchased and ends up in a good result. I add brown sugar after I strain them and let the residual liquid around the pearls form the syrup. Just be aware these aren't like the common "maple syrup" sweetened ones - they will have a subtle molasses taste. I'm a fan of it but my husband prefers other flavours.
