I Am the Movie - Anniversary Edition - Tangerine w/Black Splatter

The album is great, and the vinyl sounds fantastic. The only complaint is the inner sleeve is really thin paper, and it ripped during shipping, but I didn't buy this as a collector piece so it's fine.

if you see the flowers on the top of the cover, those are tattooed around my wrist, along with a bracelet of question marks. This is my favorite band, and this is the album to get me into them. The songs are personal yet incredibly easy to relate to. Pop culture references sprinkled around, it feels like it takes minutes to get but far longer to understand. This album is leaps and bounds above the albums that were grouped with it at the time.

Great music. FYI, my mac computer (iMac running Leopard, purchased Nov'07) had a real problem ejecting this cd. (I did successfully add the music to iTunes). There is some video file on the disc that confused the computer. I've imported over a thousand music cd's into this computer, this is the first one that had such a problem. I ended up needing to power off the mac, and then power back on while holding the eject button. CD popped out. Great music, though.

I've had some bad experiences when it comes to epitaph records and their mass repressings. Noise issues, skipping issues, beat up jackets, dirty LPs, you name it. This arrived in pristine condition and sounded fantastic. I really miss this band.

great classic album, its a shame theyve broken up :( the box and cover however were very badly beat up and torn. the record played fine fortunately.

i saw the music video for motion city soundtrack's 'my favorite accident' once and immedietly went online and ordered the cd. there is not one bad song on the entire thing! and although the band is signed to epitaph, they sound nothing like the bands typically signed to that label. they sounds very much like a combination of the hippos (minus the brass) and ultimate fakebook. also, the band makes use of my favorite instrument - the moog! do yourself a favor and buy this cd. then listen to 'don't call it a comeback' which is my favorite song on the album.

...until I bought this album. A life without I Am The Movie in it just wasn't worth looking forward to. :P No but seriously this is a great album and I really like all of the songs on it. The Future Freaks Me Out, Capital H, Favorite Accident, so amazing.

Stunning album

Ich wurde durch den Song "Favorite Accident" auf die Band aufmerksam und kaufte mir daraufhin das Album. Begeisterung von Anfang an war das Resultat. Ein gelungenes Album, ohne auch nur einen einzigen Ausfall. Mit Sicherheit eines der besten Alben von Motion City Soundtrack. Nächstes Album ist schon bestellt und für dieses gibt es von mir 5 Sterne! Top!

どんなバンドにも飽きは必ずやってくる。 そんな飽きを惜しむように初めて感じたのがこのモーション。 飽きたくない。ずっと聴き続けたいそんなバンドです。 もう何回聴いたことか…。
