Great stories for 6+

My daughter has enjoyed listening to the Ramona stories as much as I did when I was little. Fabulous stories about 4 year old Ramona and her exasperated sister Beezus.

Perfect for co reading with youngsters..

My great niece aged 4 and I are working our way through these in our weekly WhatsApp reading session. She enjoys and anticipates the next trouble that Ramona will get into, but she also identifies with Beezus in her role of exasperated older sister. It has been interesting to introduce my great niece to American vocabulary. I occasionally have to skip or remodel sentences that represent girls in a more 1955 vibe that don't translate happily to 2020 "girls can do anything" ethos.
