I have used this for several days now. In AZ, the best time of year is the fall and spring. That is when we actually get to be outside and relax on the patio with family and play with the kids in the yard. Every year though, we have the same problem of sharing the space with SO many bugs. I know bugs are important and add to the biodiversity, but we have bugs flying in your mouth kinds of problems. I can only appreciate bugs when they aren't flying up my nose. So, we put this bug zapper on the back patio right out of the box. Because of the solar cells, it charged itself right up, and when we were ready to have family time in the backyard, we turned it on. It worked like a charm. We just let it do its magic and within a day or two we noticed a big difference in the number of bugs on the patio. I also noticed that they were still just as prevalent out in the yard where I want them, just not on the patio. My Pros - Easy to charge and light weight. Battery operated so I can move it around when its in the way. I didn't have to have it next to an outlet. Came with a brush that I could easily clean off the fruits of its labor. I didn't have to plug it in halfway through the evening since it had charged all day long. We used the lamp to look for a lost watch when it had gotten dark and we wanted to go back inside. Very convenient! Cons - the carrying handle tends to come loose, but it is easy to put it back on. The lamp is convenient but could be brighter.

I recently purchased a waterproof wireless bug zapper and have been extremely satisfied with its performance. The waterproof feature is a great addition as it allows me to use it outdoors without worrying about rain or other weather conditions. I have noticed a significant reduction in the number of bugs in my outdoor space since using this bug zapper. It is also easy to clean, as the bugs collect in a removable tray that can be emptied and washed. Overall, I highly recommend this waterproof wireless bug zapper. It is a reliable and effective solution for eliminating flying insects, and the waterproof feature makes it versatile for outdoor use.

I turned on the UV light feature three times for a few hours each time. When the UV light was on it did a very good job of attracting and eliminating mosquitoes. Unfortunately, the UV light stopped working after the third time I used it. I as in the process of packaging the light for return and the UV light came on by itself. I pushed the mosquito light button to turn it off. I had to push it a number of time before it would go off. Then after an awhile the UV light came on again without me pushing the button. This happened a number of times. The light goes on and off by itself. Appears there must be connection issue with the mosquito light button.

EDIT: The bug zapper is fine. The solar part does not last long, whatsoever — though, I didn’t buy it, for that; so, I won’t knock stars off. However, the company offers a $30 gift card, for a 5 star review. I waited a while, before I left said 5-star review — as I wanted to make sure it was honest. I messaged the company, one year to the day of purchase, (to the day unintentional), requesting my $30 gift card, which, is stated I will receive within 48-hrs. Nothing. No response. At all. So, for that — I give this product 3-stars, alone. I do not reward lack of integrity. The paper says these have a 2-year warranty. I would think I’d have some time, to use this product, leave a review, and receive said offered gift card. If they can’t even respond to this email, to let me know whether or not I will receive this gift card — I have high doubts they will respond, if I had an issue (which, I still have a year to go, with my warranty; so, we shall see). Original review: I’ve had this bug zapper for several months, now. I keep it by the door, in my RV. It lights the dark corner it resides in; and makes an excellent nightlight, for when I leave it on to attract the remainder of insects, when I go to bed. I specifically chose this one, because the slits were big enough to allow for bigger insects. I haven’t used the solar powered part; nor have I used it wirelessly, so, I cannot attest to those functions — though, they do seem to work. I love the lanter-style, also — it’s definitely on the more atttactice side, for a bug zapper. I’ve been very happy, with my purchase.

It's solar. And let me tell you it zaps bugs violently on the high setting. The only reason I didn't give the product a 5 star review is simply battery life. Aside from the battery life, which is expected being a battery operated bug zapper, it is perfect. Look forward to using it out camping.
