Everything we have from the Lamaze family of baby toys has been a hit with our little girl (6 months old). Recently added to her stable of colorful, cushy toys is the Lamaze Rainbow stacking toy. I didn't want plastic junk knowing the first place it would go is in her mouth - and the Lamaze toys are so cool to look at -- appearing to be designed by a fearless bohemian sculptor with a taste for rainbow colors and odd textures. She immediately locked eyes on the toy - and has spent tons of time stacking, unstacking and putting the rings in her mouth. The little ribbons on top are a thoughtful addition from a company that understands how to stimulate the little ones. Great purchase, wish they had it in adult size... mmmm, donuts.

I loved getting my boys all different kinds of these stacker things... like the standard one everyone has, the wooden ones, just all different kinds of these. I am reviewing here a bit late, about two years late lol but, they were great. Exactly as they are in description and photo and great for babes. Unfortunately my second boy didn’t play with it much - because he then had a 2-3yr old big brother and since my little one started crawling he only wanted big brothers toys and would play with “baby toys” very rarely. He did play with it on and off for some time and it helped him learn a bit of hand eye coordination getting the rings on there. Cute toy & would make a cute baby gift; baby shower or first birthday. Not really much else to tell, they’re soft, durable, & cute!

Love the bright colors and different fabric textures. Quality great and I didn’t mind paying a little more than what I wanted.

I will preface this by saying this toy has some small imperfections. The rings are not perfectly symmetrical and there are a few threads of stuffing coming out of each one. However, it is a great toy. Beautiful colors, soft, easy to grab. Each ring has two textures on the surface, smooth and fleece like. The rings also make a crinkly sound while the base/center rod has a bell in it. The blue "ring" isn't actually a ring, but is instead a base.

My 6 month old daughter enjoys playing with this. All of the rings crinkle and have somewhat different textures on them. The pole that they go on has a little jingly bell, and this is her favorite part! The larger rings may be difficult to handle for younger babies. I have not have the issues that others have mentioned about the seams coming apart. We have had the toy for about a month, and she plays with it daily.

I bought this toy for my 5 month old granddaughter so she hasn't had much time to play with this toy, but I will tell you what I like about it. I bought the FP toy for my sons which they loved, but I had to watch when they were younger that they didn't fall on the hard plastic pole or even the harder plastic base. The Lamaze pole is encased in a spongy foam material. There is a hard piece at the very top of the pole, but because of the protective layers it doesn't present any safety issues. The hard part allow a baby to gnaw and chew on the top without damaging the mouth, gums, or teeth. There are colorful ribbons on top to chew on, but my toy's ribbons are sewn very close together and do not fan out like the displayed toy. The pole having black and white stripes and black and white dots on the top is stimulating for babies. The bottom ring does not come off and doesn't make any crinkly sounds like the other four rings. Each colorful ring has different textures to the material. What I especially like about the rings is there is no right or wrong way to assembly the rings. When my boys were little they were frustrated with the FP rings because you had to go in order to put the rings on. With this toy when a baby is little she can enjoy the accomplishment of just getting the ring on the pole and not having to worry about any order. As a child gets a little older they can learn the correct order for ring placement. A great developmental toy.

I bought this toy when my son was around 5 months old and he still likes it, even if he plays too with the traditional plastic version of Fisher price. These toys are nice and soft, with big pieces, and each ring has its own color and two textures on the surface. The blue "ring" is in the same time a ring and a base, and has bells in it. The fabric is really colorful and eye-catching, good quality and durable.

This toy is awesome for a number of reasons. Here are some. The colors. As soon as my baby saw it, he locked eyes on it and extended his hands to grab it. Second, every circle has a different texture to it. One is really soft, one makes a crunchy sound (he loves that one the most) and honestly, I forgot what the other ones do. Anyways, in short, it's a great toy for any baby under 2 years old. PS, my boy was 5 months when I first got it for him, he is now one month shy of being a year old and he still extends his hands when he sees it.

Great toy. We previously had a plastic one, and in comparison this softer one adds a bit more fun to playtime. My 14 month old likes to squish them for the sound, and it is also much easier to grip. It is well made, and the colours and patterns are vibrant.

This product is for my nephew who is only a few weeks old. Is is lovely and soft for him to look at and as he grows can stack the rings. They are all different textures and beautiful colours, and bigger than I expected, and by that better value than can be shown in small photos.

Grandson loves it as do the parents. We have been buying Lamaze baby toys for years. Great quality, bright colours & educational not to mention quirky. Recommend ++
