Set of 2 coasters which are advertised as desktop coasters so my first thought was to use them to hold cups and mugs whilst i am working at my desk but they are very small and wouldn't hold any of my mugs/cups.The coasters measure 2.55 inches in width, are made of brass and are good quality and have a decent weight to them. I am going to use them to hold my stationary like paperclips and rubber bands but if you didn't want to use them at your desk they could be used to hold earrings, rings or small candles etc which makes them very versatile, i just wish they were a tad bigger in size.

I got these as I wanted to get some brass components for my walnut desk to go as a good contrast piece.These turn up individually packed, they are beautifully machined. The milling is perfectly done, there are no sharp edges as it has been machined with chamfers to the edges. They sit in one another to be able to stack them which is nice for space saving. The finishing on these is superb, the brushing to the top and bottom is very clean, the edge finishing is excellent and the whole this is blemish/ scratch free. These are quite heavy as they are made of brass, which gives it a really premium feel.The only downside to these are that they are so small! At 65mm across and a useable space of 63mm, almost none of my cups/ mugs will fit because their bases are larger than the 63mm. These trays do however work as nice desktop trinket trays for holding screws, other small objects.Overall, these are really well made and for £9.56 are excellent value, just don't look to use them as coasters and use them as trinket trays instead.
