At 3 feet its perfect for connecting a laptop to an external tablet (from the left side of the laptop to the right side of the tablet, when the tablet is on the right of the laptop). No more extra cable length flopping around.More importantly, the braiding is solid and wears well, and the plugs are well-made. The attached cable tie is also a nice touch... super helpful for traveling.
