This dart launcher works and should be considered lethal. Hopefully this headline prevents a family from suffering through a tragedy. This is listed as 16 years old and up, but trust me, it should be 18 and up. When the box says 16, parents then feel their 13/14year old is mature and then buy it for them. Don't! The complaints and videos of people saying it doesnt work should be blamed on both, seller and buyer. The seller includes absolutely no directions. No pictures, no nothing. Even the sellers video should be considered a disgrace to Amazons policy. The person in sellers video loads the gun and then end of video. As for the people complaining, they are very weak. This does take a lot of effort to load and shoot it, which should get easier over time. Since the Seller feels no directions are necessary for selling a lethal weapon that can kill themselves, their child or whoever they are playing with, i’ll give directions. First you have to load each dart, one at a time. 3 gives too much resistance. You load it up like the video shows, flipping it over and firmly pushing the dart in until the darts latch catches. Then, push down the brown plastic, as seen in my picture, as when it is up, it serves as a safety. Then very very hard, u need to push the buttons in. I had to use something firm to push it in, but it loosened so be prepared. AGAIN, DON’T GIVE THIS TO ANYONE LESS THAN 18YEARS OLD. If kids struggle the way i did, as they struggle, someone could get shot. I wouldn't even buy this for an 18 year old that is immature. Just as you wouldn't buy a gun for someone immature.

Oh wow why didn’t I read the reviews…. This is pure crap! Out of the 3 slots a dart goes into, one I can’t get a dark into it, the middle one won’t release the dart and the last one works. So out of 3 slots I have one useable. Ugh. Don’t but this. I know it’s not expensive and seems interesting but you will be disappointed. It’s poor quality and since one dart won’t come out quite dangerous because that’s how it’s going to ship when I return it promptly tomorrow.

I purchased one a while ago, and it seems to work just fine however this recent one seems to release itself without warning from time to time while in my pocket ' the cap is the only reason I have not had a self inflicted puncher

Definitely not a toy, just like one review said push safety slide under trigger buttons, load one at a time leaning the device away from the last, then once locked and loaded, pull the safety slide towards you and push button to fire. WARNING! It will shoot a dart all the way through a bottle of water. That impressed me. If you shoot someone in the eye, neck, back of the head. They are definitely dead, at lease without some serious medical attention, just as dangerous as a load of gun be careful LOL. For what it is though I'm impressed it's actually pretty cool and if you had to defend yourself with this, you got three darts No one is going to continue running towards you. I would rather have this then pepper spray for sure. Thanks China.

I was not expecting much from this cheap little thing anyway, but I did however expect to be able to load and fire all three dart slots. When I opened it I realized that I could only load 2 of the 3 slots. The triggering mechanism on the other slot was blocked by something, so I disassembled it to find out what the obstruction was and learned that there was no slot cut into the third triggering mechanism. It's just a hole that goes through a piece of steel, but one of the pieces was not cut. I imagine it was a quality control issue, but nobody caught it and it happened to make it to me. Poor quality control and testing. The darts are not sharp either. If selling a dart that is supposed to be able to stick into wood, it should probably be sharply pointed. No worries though, I have a belt sander and put super sharp points on them in just a few minutes. Lol
