The Ultimate Travel Hoodie
My husband absolutely loves this lightweight hoodie! It's the perfect weight—not too heavy, but warm enough to be his go-to for air travel. The fit is great, the quality is high, and the fabric is incredibly comfortable. It's the ideal layer for staying cozy on a flight without getting too hot. What makes it even better is that it also provides UV protection, which is a fantastic bonus for when he's out and about. This hoodie is a terrific value for the price, and it has quickly become a staple in his wardrobe.

Great shirt: Lasted 1,000 miles on PCT ...
This is my 2nd Echo Hoodie. My first one lasted me roughly 1,000 miles on the PCT. It felt good and did what I expected as my daily, on-skin walking shirt. It wicked my sweat, were light, the hood protected me from the sun when necessary. The blue color hid the dirt nicely and looked great, except for sweat-salt deposits on particular grueling days. I bought a red one next and do not like it as much. Keep in mind, you will look at a lot of photos of yourself on those long hikes: You may as well wear a shirt you like. How did the shirt "die"? The shirt would get caught from time to time in the buckle of my backpack which ultimately caused holes in that area -- but hey that was fine after 1,000 miles. BTW: I used a different shirt (Montbell) for sleeping and camp shirt.

Great sun protection and ultra breathable
Wore this on the appalachian trail and multiple day hikes, has held up really well. No snags or tears. It is extremely lightweight and breathable. It provides great protection from the sun without making you overheat. I own rei brand, columbia, and northface sun hoodies, and this one is by far my favorite. The size is great and is very comfortable. After a few days use i do not notice any smell at all.

Great Sun Performance, Very Sensitive Material
I got this shirt on the recommendation of another hiker who has a few of them and swears by them. I wanted a lightweight shirt with full coverage and this delivers. I actually got the shirt primarily with hiking in mind. I ended up using it frequently during a trip to South America in summer. It's just 4.1 oz for the medium. The material is thin, flowy, and breathable but still protects you fully from the sun. Thumb holes help keep the sleeves down and the hood has a more narrow face opening, meaning more extensive coverage of your most sensitive areas. At 5'7" and 160 lb the medium fits perfectly. I would regularly hand wash and hang dry the shirt and found that it is one of the fastest drying pieces of clothing I own, even in humid environments. The biggest con for which I can't quite give this a five-star review is the material sensitivity. Absolutely keep all Velcro a mile away from this shirt. Don't go bushwhacking; don't rub it up against boulders in the Lemon Squeezer. The fabric loves to snag and produces pulls with great ease. As with many other ultralight camping and hiking fabrics, the trade-off for weight is in relative material weakness.

Desert Sun Protection
I often run at lunchtime in 90 °F+ heat and worry about sun exposure. This top has held up well so far and is light enough to run in ridiculous temps.

Quality Product
I love this thing. I walked the Camino de Santiago (500+ mi) and used this shirt every other day. The fit was perfect. (L) Even though it is black, I felt really cool. It protected me from the sun and I didn't have to use any chemicals on my body. In the cool mornings it kept me warm! When I scraped by a rose bush, it really held together. I will definitely buy another one or two. Even though it may be slightly more expensive than other shirts it is a great value for the money.

Best year round base layer
I have several of these long sleeves. There are my favorite year round base layer. They are a perfect first layer for snowboarding/winter mountaineering and also duriing the summer they are awesome by themself for hot, sunny days of hiking. This really is the only base layer too you will ever need. I even prefer it over my expensive Marino pieces and all my smartwool stuff.

Great Purchase, especially if you can get it on sale.
Absolutely stellar sun hoodie. Incredibly lightweight, breathes really well in the Las Vegas sun, and dries incredibly fast. Only real critique I have is the hood doesn’t really stay straight on your head, it kind of turns to one side or the other, but not annoying enough to deduct a star. Will absolutely be buying another one.

Klare kaufempfehlung
