Good replacement vs. all the effort of having to hang a new microwave under the oven. Has worked fine for multiple months now.

My 6 year old built-in Frigidaire was starting with the loud and harsh hum, but never transitioned into the smooth sound. It was making noise but not heating. I used an insulated screwdriver to touch the capacitor leads to ground before working on the microwave, just to ensure it was discharged. Then I removed the magnetron and tested. I was getting 140 ohms between the case of the magnetron and either of the leads, indicating it was bad (should show as open). This replacement magnetron has the connector on the right side compared to the top side on the original, but that isn't an issue. So far my microwave is working perfectly. I'll update the review if this magnetron dies prematurely or develops any other issues. Happy to fix my microwave for $45 instead of spending $600 on another built-in.

This magnetron and other parts kept me from having to buy a new expensive drawer microwave. It’s been heating good for a month now and hopefully for years to come.

Worked twice then failed. Brand AND model # I think have to be exact. Several different magnetrons will fit brand but not the model. This fit exactly but looked different.

It saved me a thousand dollars to just replace this unit rather than buy a brand new microwave.
