Before breast cancer surgery, I learned many patients would benefit from having the items in this bundle as part of their recovery, so I got mine ahead of time in preparation for the ride home. The super padded cross seat belt pillow took all pressure off my incisions, and is now installed in the driver’s seat of my vehicle. The big, soft, supportive and squishy mastectomy pillow has a torso encircling strap, as well as shoulder straps that keep my incisions well protected. It’s like wearing a portable hug! I live in this pillow, because it is not only comfortable but also handy. I’ve used the pockets for my driver’s license, car keys, health care card, parking place ticket, phone, handkerchief - you name it! And the inside pockets nicely hold the gel cold pack. Either set nicely holds the surgical drains lower than my incisions, and lets me tuck the drain lines in if I’m moving around and don’t want to risk catching them on something. The shower lanyard for he surgical drains has been really useful out of the shower, too. Some of my recovery clothing lacks pockets, so the lanyard works to support my drains, often overnight with no problems. I discovered a surprise feature of the big pillow - chest protection from overly enthusiastic pets! If my Australian Shepherd wants to give me one of his super happy “nose missiles,” he would typically launch upwards and firmly plant his front paws on my chest - not a good thing for a double mastectomy patient! But when I’m wearing the pillow, there’s enough padding to protect me from accidental impacts from a flying 55lb happy dog! This bundle has truly helped my post op recovery from my double mastectomy. Anyone facing this surgery would benefit from each piece of equipment. Highly reccommended!

I had a single mastectomy last month. This pillow has been my constant companion since. I pretty much wore the pillow 24/7 for the first two weeks after surgery, although I did need help with the adjustable clip those first two weeks. I still wear the pillow frequently just because it feels good. It helped with sleep, it helped with underarm pain, it was nice and snug; it felt like someone hugging me, which is what I desperately needed after surgery. It's an absolute must in the car for post-op visits (along with the seat belt pillow) and just having some relief at home. I liked the drain belt as well, as it was another thing I didn't have to buy. I didn't use the ice pack thing, as I was advised not to use ice or heat in recovery. I liked this pillow set so much I bought one for a friend that is about to undergo the same fate.

I loved this product so much. It is everything they advertised. It was so comfortable to use, and helped me a lot after surgery. The pockets are more convenient than you think. Overall wonderful product. Easy to adjust, works well for what you need it for, lovely design, and no bad smell (I still washed before first use). It’s been in storage since after I was initially using it ( I used it for about 2-3 months 2 years) so I can’t say too much about its durability, but the ice pack has been in use since after that and it’s still good to go.

This goes on my necessary list of supplies for a breast reduction. One month later and I’m still using mine daily. You’ll want it for the car ride after your operation, but you’ll also want it just for sitting or lying down. The sides of it are perfect for protecting your incisions and making sure they don’t get bumped! For the first week or two, you’ll want to keep your medicine and maybe even a small water bottle in it when you sleep. I still sleep with mine on so my animals don’t stand on me. That said, mine arrived with a sharp broken buckle! Check yours before surgery date. I would have returned and reordered, but I didn’t check carefully until the night before surgery. Super disappointing.

I disagree with anyone what states that this pillow is overrated. It is essential during recovery from a mastectomy! The firmness, straps, pockets, etc., are far superior than any regular pillow. Mine arrived in ready-to-use condition, perfectly firm yet comfortable. The way it surrounds and hugs the body makes the healing process much more comfortable. This is what I will purchase anyone I know going through a mastectomy.

Absolutely love this product. I got it for recovery from Top surgery. The material is extremely soft and comfortable. The pockets are extremely useful in the front and back, and the ice pack (which slides into the pocket closest to your chest) is very nice. I haven’t had the chance to use the seat belt cover yet, but it is also super soft and comfortable to the touch. Would highly recommend.

I’m not usually one to write reviews but this is genuinely one of the greatest items I’ve ever purchased. I just had a breast reduction yesterday and this pillow has been with me every minute since. It is convenient, comforting, and comfortable. I’m keeping my chapstick and phone in the front pockets. I’ve been sleeping with it on to prevent me from rolling over. I can prop by phone or a drink up against it when my arms get sore and achey. The seatbelt pad made my trip home from the hospital totally painless and a breeze. It also offers be a bit of protection and a barrier between me, my kids and my dog, to prevent any unwanted pressure or touch around my chest. I am so grateful I bought this set and would highly recommend it to anyone going through breast surgery.

This is my "best buddy" and an absolute must-have after breast surgery and any invasive breast biopsy. It has kept me so comfortable while resting on the sofa and sleeping. I would have given it 10 stars if there were more allowed. I highly recommend it. It is also of great quality. Two thumbs up!! I am so happy I got it prior to the procedures to prep for post-recovery.

Lightweight and comfortable. Able to keep area iced longer and more comfortably. Short term use, but very helpful. If on a budget, may not be worth it as it was used less than a week. Though helpful, wasn't essential.
