Look great and give a good lighting effect with LED bulbs (not supplied). Need to be tight with the wiring because there is not much internal space.

Read some of the other reviews before purchasing this and glad to say it's a great item. Installation and set up was really easy. All works well.

I needed to replace some old corroded outside lights and chose these as they look very nice. They are well painted and sealed and work very well. They are adjustable for sensitivity (range that it will trigger at) light level (so you can have them on even in daylight if you so choose) and the length of time that they stay on for. The lamps I used are 3.5W LED lamps and I can't believe how far the light is thrown, I was a bit concerned that they wouldn't light out very far as they are up and down lights, but they are absolutely fine and throw light out a long way farther than you would think. I have four on the front of my house an garage and when they're on they light up most of the drive out to about 20 feet of usable light, not dazzling but usable. they also look very nice. Only one gripe, they are a sod to wire up inside as the earth connection is a tang from the washer that holds the fitting to the base and there are three heatproofed cable joints to fit inside there as well (manufactured to connect the two fittings and the PIR) so the chocblock is a tad inaccessible if you are under a soffit etc. but it's not impossible, but be patient!

Had these installed by a qualified electrician on Tuesday 18th September and I must say they look beautiful outside my front door on the brick wall. Am glad I purchased them and truly would recommend buying them worth every penny!!

These look amazing. I got them to go either side of my front door and they light the door and the porch really well. Set the settings to middle for everything and that gives good detection and length of time illuminated. Only used in winter so far but they do not seem to light unless it is dark enough to need it.

Bought a pair of these for the front of the house. Give some illumination but mainly for decorative effect. Good solid construction and neat appearance. First one had a faulty pir circuit but replaced immediately with no quibble.
