Speedy and efficient delivery
Good value bird food. Speedy processing and delivery. The boxes of bird food are now enclosed in a cardboard sleeve which protects the boxes. Previously the boxes were sometimes split and leaking on delivery. The new sleeve packaging is a great improvement.

Bitd food, insect pallets
This is the way I feed my birds, and have been doing so for a long tiime now. It is always wrapped well, and being quite heavy, it is securely wrapped. Inside the box, the pellets are in an airtight plastic bag. What more to say? The birds love it!

Good
Great value for money per kg, the pellets are nice quality and the birds go crazy for them. They are like crack for our garden birds! The only thing I don't like about them is that they arrive in basically a thin bit of plastic in a box. Even if I open it up and put the pellets straight into a sealed air tight container they do go mouldy very quickly which means I can't make them last as long as I'd like. Some batches have gone quicker than others too, so it would be nicer all around if that was addressed by the seller.

All good
Good value for a 12.75kg box. The birds in my garden seem to love them. I only have a very samll garden and only really get sparrows, pigeons and collared doves (and a few blackbirds) but they really polish these off, I have to top up my bird table at least twice a day,

The birds love it
Excellent food to keep my beautiful blackbirds and robins well fed over winter. I use this food in a special blackbird feeding unit that keeps out the pigeons and magpies. The food is so good that it attracts up to 12 blackbirds to my garden every day. The air is full of beautiful song as a result. It would be devoured by pigeons and magpies if I didn't use a protective feeder. I use the food from November to the start of March, to keep the adult birds well fed. I then swap to well soaked dried worms for the adults to feed their chicks until the end of May, when I let the birds fend for themselves until the start of November. That way, the blackbirds feed off any snails and small slugs so that I only need to keep control of large slugs in my garden. This and the glorious birdsong is full repayment for the cost of the food which, in bulk is at least 40% less than buying the same feed from a local shop.

The birds are the real judges in the end...
My garden is something of an industrial-scale bird feeding facility...I can comfortably get through a 'tube' of food per feeder per day. Saw good reviews on these suet pellets, which would represent a saving over the months and so I got it. It has pretty much been rejected by the birds. A tube doesn't get eaten in days. To test my theory, I filled the tube half and half with the previous blend and the Beaks suet. As you can factually and unambiguously tell from the pics that the half which is rejected are these. And the little they did 'eat' ended in a pile on the floor anyway. I have time and date stamps on the pics if anyone wants to test my results. I now have 25kg of bird food which is largely useless. I would not recommend this product.
