Doesn’t produce a mist, just a slightly less concentrated jet at most

The material is very cheaply made and it doesn't produce the atomized consistency to cool properly instead the output is heavy and soaks the area it should be cooling. I have a system made by homenote installed for my dogs and that unit works excellent so definitely going back to them.
