Good and solid when removing the meat and sides from the oven.
Good size. Love the sturdy feel when removing a ham or a roast or a chicken with veggies in the pan. Still have to try on a turkey.

Great pans for cooking bigger food items
Quality cast iron. Properly seasoned and ready to go. The dual lid/pan combo is great for food items needing extra cooking space. Great value for the money.

Well Built Quality Pan
This cast iron baking pan is not only beautiful but also boasts a sleek profile. I initially purchased the Lodge version but had to return it as it wasn't deep enough for cooking lasagna without sauce spillage, and it felt very basic. I was looking for something with a depth of at least 3 inches. While this pan doesn't quite meet the 3-inch mark, it's deeper than the Lodge version, with an inner depth of 2.5 inches compared to the Lodge's 2.25 inches. The inner length and width are 12.7 inches by 8.7 inches, similar to the Lodge version. The outer height with the cover is 3.75 inches. With the cover, it's suitable for lasagna with minimal spillage. Even if I don't use it for lasagna, I'll keep this pan. The cover's handle is ergonomically curved for a comfortable grip, and the bottom handles are straight with design grooves for secure handling. The interior texture is smooth, though not mirror-like, yet the entire surface is evenly smooth without any bumps or ridges. The pan's aesthetic appeal, quality, and well-crafted design are evident, plus the cover is versatile, serving as a Dutch oven, lasagna cover, skillet, etc. I've grown fond of this manufacturer due to the quality and design. However, it's important to remember that even the highest quality cast iron will rust without proper care. Search keywords: measurements, size, lodge, dimension,", deep

Lid is what makes it
Great value. Received a few weeks ago. Came in a very robust well packed box. Pre seasoned and ready to go. Only used actual pan once or twice. Works as it should. The lid on the other hand have used constantly. By using it as a griddle it's great. Not to big and not to small . the sides are what make it work so well. took it to houseboat to use on grill. Gamechanger. Nice feature is the handles on sides gives you a place to grab. That's the downfall of my other cast iron flat top. Tiny lip and tough to deal with. Both problem solved with this setup. As you can guess its heavy. Par for the course in cast iron land. Enjoy

Very nice
Nice heavy cast iron Dutch oven. Properly seasoned from the factory. It should last forever with proper care. I cooked a peach cobbler on my pellet grill and it was delicious and it didn’t stick.

Great product
Great quality solid cast iron. The only problem I have is when using the lid some rust forms from the steam. I didn't realize that I should have seasoned it before using, but they say they are pre seasoned so I suggest you be wary when using the cast iron lids and keep an eye out for rust.

Excellent for Baguettes at a Fraction of the Cost of the Name Brand Pan
Just made my first sourdough baguettes in my new Dutch Oven, and I LOVE IT! They are shorter than the ones I made on my oven stone (11.5 " instead of 15"), but my usual recipe now makes four loaves (baked two at a time) instead of three. The pan and lid are well-made and fit together perfectly. The result: loaves with open crumb, oven spring, good ears, and great crust! If you have a gas oven, it is almost impossible to create and sustain enough steam (because the oven is vented for continued gas ignition) to keep the baguette crust malleable for rapid expansion and oven spring. I have tried boiling water in a cast iron frying pan, ice in the bottom of the oven, and covering the baguettes on an oven stone with a pre-heated baking pan, but none of these solutions worked nearly as well as this pan. Two comments: you have to manipulate a heavy preheated pan, so you need good silicon mitts or hot pads; and I found I had to bake for 2 minutes more than I am used to--13 minutes with the case iron top on and 13 minutes with the top off. And in case it's not obvious, you bake the bread in the lid (the top part in the product pictures) covered with the larger bottom part.

Love having a dutch oven in this form factor.
What makes this item great is the lid. There are other cast iron pans of about this shape and size, but I didn't see one with a lid. Love having the lid. Lid also doubles as a griddle/skillet.

This is great. 2 distinct pieces to use, or one with a lid. Pre seasoned adds definite value. The size was the key issue as it was needed to fit inside the oven of our travel trailer

Das Produkt ist sau schwer, top Qualität, genau waas ich gesucht habe. Ich nutze es auf Induktionserde, bin sicher kann auch direkt auf Flamme oder in dem Grill gehen

This fantastic cast iron pan is a must-have for any cook. You should know how to care for it to prevent rust and ensure has a good seasoning before to use it (comes pre-seasoned but I like to make it one extra layer just to be sure). The dimensions are perfect for my Gozney Dome, and it fits perfect. The lid doubles as a pan, giving you many options and configurations and I was even able to fit an stainless steel dripping pan from ikea inside so many options from roasting chicken or even making a lasagna. I’m very happy with this product.

I love this pan. It does duty as a casserole pan with or without the lid. I have also used the lid as a shallow pan and it works great.
