This is the only henna I use on my hair now. There are so many choices out there, but most of them seem to contain harmful chemicals. This brand offers a good selection of colours and simplifies the henna dying process, as well as being transparent about the ingredients. It also comes with gloves and cap, which is quite handy. I also invested in some ear covers, which are like tiny shower caps that stop henna from going inside your ear canal. I learnt my lesson after pulling brown dye out of my ears for months! So yeah, my favourite brand. Others I've tried in the past were hit and miss, this one provides good results every time.

I've been dyeing my hair for a very very long time. I've also used henna before when I was red but I found it quite messy and just a pain in general. Now I've gone back to my roots (literally) and am dark brown mu hair was getting more and more damaged each time I coloured it. Sooooo I thought I'd give this a go and see what it was like. This is probably the best product I have used. The mess is minimal, henna doesn't come without mess but it wasn't half as bad as before. The results are also the best I've had. The colour is even, shiny, and it's the best dark brown I've had for years. Can't recommend enough!

I'm crushed. So much work. Rinsed & conditioned as directed after leaving on 3.5 hours. Didn't shampoo for 2 days. Used special colour safe, gentle shampoo. The dark colour washed out on first shampoo. I am allergic to PPD and have a few greys in dark brown hair scattered through the crown, and now these are just as visible as before, but now I have lots of dandruff too. Honestly, I cried.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I used Light Mountain red on my virgin hair which is a light s**t brown. Liked the colour but it wasn't the right shade for me. Stupidly I tried removing the henna with olive oil & coconut mask, Vit C and dandruff shampoo, even got a brand box blonde and shoved it on, in a moment of madness. See pic 1. Decided the best way to get back to brown was to henna again this time with dark brown. I'm so glad I did. The colour is vibrant, tonal and gorgeous!!! (Please don't look at the face!) This henna is a keeper and actually so so happy with my hair colour for once!!!

I've been using Khadi henna products till now, but after trying the light mountain henna I am so impressed and def from now onwards will use this brand. Great choice of shades and my hair do not feel so dry as after the treatment with Khadi henna. An this dark brown colour it is just lovely, will def try more colours. Def recommended. Will never switch to the normal chemical stuff which ruins your hair.

Disappointed with the coverage. I followed instructions and put on the red henna as instructed. This seemed to take quite well but was difficult to wash out. Then I applied the indigo again as instructed having left it to develop for the required time. Rinsed and dried my hair to find I was left with a lot of red roots showing and my hair felt rough. I've used henna and indigo before and have always been left with soft shiny hair. This time my hair was shiny but feels dry and rough. A week after applying the indigo seems to be lifting and I'm left with a lot of red roots. A lot of work for poor results... Such a shame

I have used a few kinds of henna hair dye and would prefer this product/brand. The color lasts good for about 3-4 weeks before slightly fading. For best results (to cover some gray) I would suggest using this about once a month or every 6 weeks. I will definately be using Light Mountain from now.

This is the first time I dye my hair in my life, and of course the first time I use henna. I have several comments: - My natural color is dark brown, and I am pleased with the results, it's a little darker than my natural brown. - I thought I was going to make a huge mess but really after the henna is mixed it is quite easy to manage. I did my roots first and I have very long hair, so I covered the bathtub with plastic bags and after I did my roots I got in the bathtub and did the rest of my hair with my hands and that was easier. - I used henna because I am growing a lot of grays, and it did cover them although they do not look really brown. Next time I will leave the henna for a little longer than 4 hrs, this time I just did 2.5hrs. - I left the henna sitting for 1 hour and I think it does make it work quicker. - I would not recommend going to sleep with the henna on. Some people recommended it but I personally felt really uncomfortable, my head was really humid and I stained the pillow. I think this is a good option because it is natural-based and easy to use. The product does what is advertised, if you have grays do some research on what henna would be best for you.

Smells horrible. 🤢 Organic and does not have any harmful chemicals ✅ because my hair was fairly light, being a golden brown/blonde after first rinsing, my ends which were blonder did appear green which scared me at first, but, the next day my hair was even-toned and a gorgeous natural looking dark brown 🥹😍 exactly what I wanted! I followed the instructions, heated water in a ceramic bowl, used a wooden spoon, and left it on my hair for about 1 1/2 hours

Giving one star as there is no option to give less than one. It is simply heena. Even heena works better than that. It doesn't color your hair at all. Just a waste of money. Totally disappointed after buying this. Please don't order this as there is no seal don't know if they are giving a genuine product or not because it doesn't work at all. Such a high price and no result.
