Particularly width-wise on the counter?** A: The base is L = 21cm W = 17,5cm D = 4cm **Q: Is this kettle made completely of stainless steel on the inside or is it just the base which is stainless steel ?** A: It is only the top half as seen in the picture which is stainless steel. The inside is BPA free plastic. Love this kettle as I can now drink my green teas at the correct temperature. No more guess work. Fast boil. I don't find it noisy as some reviewers have said. It's early days as I have only just purchased but so far all good. **Q: How long does the guarantee last** A: I have just ordered my third Bosch skyline TWK8633 kettle. They are very efficient but do not expect more than two years life from them.
